Microwave fish dinner (with rice, broccoli, and candied apples), a glass of milk, and an amaretto sour (3 oz sweet-and-sour mix, 2 oz amaretto). The sour is more of a candy drink, not much alcohol in it -- the 151 daiquiri I had earlier (3 oz sweet-and-sour mix, 2 oz Bacardi 151) was much better. :D

you know if you have a few ingredients you could make your own

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

mix well bake on cookie sheet (ungreased) for 25 min at 325

but they will never taste as good as cookies that you didn't have to cook.

You can buy mini-grills that can be plugged into an electrical outlet and actually cook real food. :) I wish I had had one of those.

I cant. Im at University! I dont have access to that type of equipment. Maybe its all the better. those "cookies" sound frankly disturbing. Here's my recipe:

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups oats
1t baking powder
1/4 cup walnuts
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
1 t vanilla extract
some raisins and/or chocolate chips

yeah, I maybe haven't mentioned on here that my family is on a restricted diet. My youngest daughter has celiac disease so we are a fully gluten free household. No wheat, rye, barley, oats, or anything made from them.

I had a Buffalo Chicken sub for my only meal yesterday. I forgot to eat today, since my roommate (yesterday, his GF, today, nada)'s been on suicide watch for the past 36 hours and I haven't felt safe leaving him for long enough to eat. Now that you've reminded me, again, though, I'm

Like George Foremans? They won't let us have them. Fire Hazard. Talk to your RA. They break the rules, too, and they have much more to lose than you do (room & board). Especially considering that you can get a violation, get a fine, and then start to have serious consequences, whereas they just lose their position first offense. This is the only reason most of them turn anybody in (they lose their jobs otherwise), but also how you can get them to ignore anything that doesn't involve cops.

Here, half the RAs'll knock anything down to a noise violation if you ask nicely (as in, offer them some of the liquor they caught you on, a twenty, etc)., the other half just don't care. The ones who actually do care about the rules are either going to a dumbass university or are too stupid to qualify for RA-ship. I was the liquor hook-up for my last one*, and he ended up donating shots to me before the year was up so I didn't overcharge him/turn him in for having poorly concealed liquor in his dorm.

Also, Nyuujaku, Sour Mix is for pussies. Use Juice of 1/2 lime plus 1 teaspoon sugar for each ounce if you like it sweet, for 1&1/2 if you like it strong (for all but Whisky/Scotch/Burbon, where you use a lemon).

*If you tell me where you live, I might give away the basics to the 5-minute fake, and if you're bright enough to deserve them you'll figure it out. But, it's a competetive business, being able to make something everybody wants, so you can't move in on my territory, and you have to understand that you have to do some elaborate ceremony out of the customer's view so they don't realize it's easy.
