Enough nookey

I was thinking about if being single or married is better, and came up with this simple problem: do people actually get "enough" sex? Is it just such that it's "logistically" difficult?

There is a line to be drawn there: "enough" means that desperation does not set in. You can get too little sex and still feel happy, but not "enough" means no happiness, at least from sex.

(On average over time.)

NOTICE: Category "asexual" means "this question does not concern me", or functionally asexual: abstaining, not wanting sex for other reasons, psychopatologically asexual, and so on.

The problem with the concept of people not getting "enough" sex is that if they miss it enough they'll just masturbate. It's like trying to test sleep deprivation.

Too many masturbations because the SO's not interested tends to cause desperation, which is then seen as affairs.

I don't get any and I'm fine that way. Where to stick it? Because I'm fairly sure I'm not asexual.

Then you're functionally asexual, which is what matters, because the entire question does not concern you whether or not you're "actually" asexual.

Two things, but I will only say one, cause I do not want to debate the other: I would actually say the best birth control is the male getting his nads cut off after he makes a little donation (just in case he wants a baby in the future).

Really? I consider the "best" birth control, though not at all legal (unless you're one of the retards who voted the bill into law during the 2000 Youth In Government summit in KS) fourth-trimester abortion.

Puzzle that one out and tell me how it was that only 17 representatives and 6 senators shot us down.

Yes abortion is ONE of the dumbest things the human race has ever done.

Yeah. The youth of Kansas has essentially attempted to legalise murder.

Hell, if we truly were the decision-makers like they try to claim, I'm sure we'd have that "Bloody" title back in no time :D

Coln, while I appreciate your enthusiasm and conviction on a topic that is always debated, I'd like to both point out that I was being sarcastic, and also kindly request that we not bring that kind of debate into what could otherwise be a rare-enough, somewhat civil thread.

Agreed, but I just wanted to state my opinion on a matter that esteem high.

Women tend to slowly lose interest in sex with each year after marriage and with each child. Men are like the energizer bunny. They don't get enough two years after their dead.

Is that because it's easier for women to ignore sex?

On the scale of things I really doubt that.

Yea I remember that era of 5 times per day. Then with each passing year and each child, slowly but surely it just drained away like a block of ice on a hot day.

As I understand it, one of the widely unknown secrets of the lesbian community is that lesbian couples often completely stop having sex altogethor after a few years. It seems sexual drive is intensely driven by the male in a relationship. Of course we all know testosterone is a major driving factor in that anyway, which we get pumped into us till we're like 40 heh.

Right now? No, too far away from my fiancee. When we're together... I'm pretty happy, let's just leave it at that. ;)

I would say that finding a balance on the amount is one of those important things a couple has to figure out. As much as women complain about men being a little too egar in that regards, being denied sex by your SO hurts, it's almost as if you've been rejected.

Ya know there used to be a U.S. law that women could be arrested for denying their husband sex.
