Bush is a good guy, I don't know why no one has ever noticed it? After all, he is trying to do mankind a favor by bombing everything and everyone "back to the stone age"

I know it's a bold thing to say, but let me explain:
If the whole world is destroyed, buildings smashed, people killed and civilisations ruined, people will be equals. There will be no more overpopulation problems, pollution, stressed out people,... and we will all be able to start all over again.
Why will this not lead to total chaos and people trying to grab power and/or reinstall the old system? Because there will be so few people; it would be hard to find other people who think the same you do. Also everyone will say "What a terrible disaster, let's never let this happen again"

This, my friends, is true anarchism, sure, it will be hard life, but people will be truly free, and thus: happy. (nuclear bombs and chemical bombs and stuff schouldn't be used of course because then all life would die anyway)

The thing is, some people don't want that. They don't want universal harmony. They want Everything for me and only me. If there weren't such people, we could have begun the whole process this very time four years ago without the need to absolutely destroy everything beforehand.

Yep! That's the human nature two sides in a nutshell. You can't live without me or you can live after me only better now!^-^

This is silly... but I doubt bush uses big words like "destroyed" or "stone." I think the concept of "an age" might also cause difficulties. You make it sound like Bush is playing a computer game of some sort, only with my damn life!

Well, I suppose that has a twisted Rousseau-esque logic to it. . .

So much for progression along the evolutionary chain.

Of course, modern medicines already ruined that anyway...

Hmm...how, exactly, is he bombing "everything" into the stone age? Last time I checked even Iraq is mostly intact. So he's doing a pretty lousy job, eh?

I don't understand how the invasion/liberation/occupation/whatever diction you like, is " bombing everything and everyone 'back to the stone age'"

Honestly, if you really think Iraq was better off before, say so. I just don't understand how you can consider what the U.S. is doing there in any way shape or form worse than what Saddam Hussein did. Whether we are talking about the mass imprisionment and torture of "political dissidents" some of them younger than 13 years old, the rape rooms, or the genocide of half a million kurds.

If you disagree with the war on other terms, you are certainly welcome to your opinion and even if I, or others, disagree with it it doesn't mean your argument is any less valid.

There are many reasons to disagree with this War (the war on terror as a whole, Iraq, or even Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan) but labelling what the U.S. is doing as indiscriminate "destruction and conquest" is just plain and simple B.S.

You know, I don't feel concerned about dying in the apocolypse. I mean, everyone else is dying. What's so great about living after the apocolypse anyway?

What's so great about living after the apocolypse anyway?I'd actually quite like to live on after the Apocolypse/armageddon/rapture. The more survivors there are, the more chance the group has of surviving. If my continued existence could do anything to help out the people left behind, then I could deal with life.
