At the moment - The Kings of Leon.
Saw them at Leeds Festival and they were pure class. Never thought they would top there debut album as hardly any bands does, but they did. :D
I won't list my all time favourites cos' that will take a while.

Right now I'm in the mood to listen to Buju Banton. It's a reggae kind of day.
Pink Floyd, on top all the time every time, my Media Player has nothing but Pink Floyd, I am one of the founding members of The Holy Church of Floyd, so Pink Floyd then

Probably Santana or The Doors.

At the moment, The Hives
Favourite band ever, Led Zeppelin
I'd probably have to say Nirvana, as they're the band that got me into music and made me pick up a guitar.
Honourable mentions to Kyuss, Rage Against the Machine, The Dead Kennedys and Led Zeppelin, though.
Am I allowed to say The Beatles? Or are we just talking current bands?
Well, I said the Beach Boys, so I don't see anything stopping you from posting The Beatles...
At the moment, The Hives
Woo! One of 'em went in my sisters class, I've met him. My brother goes to the gym with a couple of them from time to time (most of them live 11 km rom here).

Bad Religion, baby. Greg Graffin is one of the most intelligent people in music.
On the podium, there stands a decorated man
Remembering how he helped to save the sacred land
His helpless enemy was wounded, both hands raised with hope
He killed him without second thought with brute force and a rope
-"Victory" by Bad Religion
Honorable mentions go out to Slayer, The Offspring, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Legless Pirates

I'd probably have to say Nirvana, as they're the band that got me into music and made me pick up a guitar.
LOL! Queen did the same for me, although not my favourite band they are the band that made me learn the guitar. Brian May is a god.
My fav band is Metallica, closely followed by GnR and Pantera. 80s Heavy Metal rocks...what metal really is instead of this new crap that has no solos and stuff!? Altho...SOAD and Rammstein rock.

I'd have to say Ac/Dc. I've dug them for a very long time. They always sound good to me. Not familiar with their recent albums.. Last one I bought was Blow Up Your Video(1988). I'm more than satisfied with what I have of them before that. I've seen them live 3 times. I wish I coulda seen em with Bon .. but I was 6 when he died. Same with Lynard Skynard .... would have been awesome to see them full force.. same with Allman Brothers.... and The Who and Queen and Sabbath with RR!! .. ugh.. This is making me wonder if I was born in the wrong decade.

Pink Floyd (my favourite album is Wish You Were Here, favourite song I can't choose between Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here).
Yeah tough call , both are great. But I'd have to go with Wish You Were Here .. I love the intro and guitar throughout the song... kick ass.

radiohead, bloc party, the libertines.
Check out my band at www.amplifico.net (please!). Would love to hear what you all think. You can download mp3s, and leave comments on our forum. Hope you like it.
Radiohead a lot of the time. The Eels lately. Blur occasionally. The Beach Boys foundationally. 80's new wave as a guilty pleasure. Certain songs more than certain people sometimes. 'Beware of Darkness' not as sung by George Harrison as much as covered by Eric Clapton. Certain iconic albums -- Pet Sounds, Revolver, Dark Side of the Moon. 'If Anyone Falls' by Stevie Nicks, but not all Fleetwood Mac....

My stock answer to this question is Shihad, but I don't listen to them any more than any of my other CD's (It's the live show that does it, but to be fair I haven't seen many bands I have albums of live). Right now, I'm about to play whatevers in my stereo upstairs as I get ready for bed, and if I remember rightly its Rotton apples, the Smashing Pumpkins best of album.

Depends what mood I'm in.
Funny, for some reason I'd have thought you were into WEEN.
As for me, while WEEN are definitely up there, they come a close second to The Young Gods, a Swiss techno-Industrial outfit who have been around for nigh on twenty years now. I can't explain to you why I like them so much, but I'm betting none of you can explain exactly why you like your particular band either.

That was a pretty good best-of. Except for the song "Eye", which is shit. In my opinion. :p

Ween's cool, and they're local boys (I think they live in the Lambertville NJ area). I listen to them often, but although they're always in my top ten, they're not my favorite. The link's there because I think they're a good enough band to have a bigger following and I'm doing my bit to help them out.
