Which of these ID games did you find most boring?

I do not play shooting games. I prefer RPGs (especially NationStates).

Doom 3 was often derided as boring but the main problem was that it was just too long in the middle. I put quake 2 cos its the only one I gave up half way through, even though I wasnt stuck. The original Quake still kicks ass though.

I found the original quake to lack direction and be somewhat aimless. The second one was downright awesome in terms of both single player level design and sick-ass multiplayer.

I lost an entire year of my sixth-form because we managed to get it into the schools LAN. Great days...

Personally I felt that Doom 3 recaptured the visceral and shocking terror of the original series, as well as possessing the same ground breaking feel. That game gave me an adrenaline high that was actually addictive. I didn't get much sleep until I completed it.

Wolfenstein owned. Killing Hitler never gets old.

I never felt like wasting my lifetime so much, as when playing Quake 2.

Doom 3. Sorry, but creatures popping out of the shadows is only shocking a few times before it gets old.
