I've been warned by the moderators that any further violation of the forum rules will result in my permanent ban. It's not worth getting banned over him.

He claims that because I've criticized some cultures and societies as being primitive, brutal or backward that I beleive that the people of those cultures are inferior to my people. I never said that those people are incapable of progressing and joining us in the 21st century, only that their current cultures that encourage stoning gays, treating women like property, and discouraging science and technology are holding them back.

It would be nice if there were a way on this forum to really get into it, a way to figuratively ask someone to step outside and settle things. You would still need some basic rules, but suspend the rules regarding flaming and flame baiting.

You should have to ask permission from the mods, stating good reaon for the combat. Shouldn't be a gang fight, just the two duelists. Appoint a second for each combatant to provide order and have a mod keep an eye on it and declare the victor.

Of course it will never happen, nor would it serve the interest of the community. But it might clear the air.

Meh, I like violence as long as it's either concentual or necessary. I used to really enjoy getting in the ring on Wednesday nights to spar or actually fighting.

This thread is no exception to the rules of NS. The creation of this thread seems to allow others to 'duke it out' and 'rip into him', which is not a good idea.

If you disagree with someone use debating tactics to beat them; 'ripping into him' won't help.
