Unfornunately this is an hypothetical as I don't have the ability or time to do so, but who would support such an alternative group?
I would call it C.A.R.R.T.
Carnivores for Animals Recieving Reasonable Treatment
We would advocate humane treatment where possible of all animals for food purposes and production, support measures to eliminate 'Mulesing' and Live Animal Transport, Bans on animal testings for cosmetic but not research purposes, and stop all celebrities from carting dogs like fashion accessories. We would also like to see the firebombing of all P.E.T.A. offices.

Okay so the firebombing was going too far, but who would support a group similar to this

Sounds reasonable. Especially standing up for dogs being toted about by celebrities.

While it's against the law, firebombing PETA would show those bastards what it's like on the other end (They did support and pay for the defense of arsonlists like Rodney Coronado). And frankly I'd like a real and sensible alternative to a bunch of misanthropic attention whores who really don't give a shit about animals like they want Hollywood and the rest of the world to believe, and wants to reduce civilization to a primitive vegan gathering tribe... all because they love animals just as much as they hate humans.

Those fuckers.

However toilet bombing (http://formen.ign.com/news/17320.html) is cheap, very effective, and there are no laws against it.

Yes, but what good will backing up their toilets do when the shit reverberates off every wall in that place?

I'd like to see a group called PITA. People Intimately Touching Animals. Their protests should be interesting to say the least.

Not really, as we would hjopefully get in brawls with P.E.T.A. where ever possible.
Besides, It's less stupidity, more intelligence. not less sugar
Also toilet bombs would be carried on P.E.T.A. just not fire bombs

Also illegeal, but the reaction of PETA would be funny as hell

I should have thought of that one. Puns need a special intellect to find them.

The site ww w.peta.com used to link to this guy running an alternative site called "People Eating Tasty Animals".

Whenever I see a peta stand the second thing i think of is the alternative acronym (the first thing I think when i see them is "terrorists")

C.H.E.T.A; Citizens for the Humane and Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Essentially, take all the good things about P.E.T.A (campaigning for true ethics), remove the bad (ecoterrorism...) and you got this...

How about getting the Queen of England to charter a group, call it the Royal Humane Society and other countries/municipalities etc will form there own Humane Societies for the same purpose. Heck, if the idea takes off, they might even establish a system where they deal with all the discarded animals (pets and such) humans have left around. DOesn't it have a nice ring to it, Humane Society?
