One theme song is hard, all those situations call for something different.
First kiss, probably something really cheesy, thats a hard one
For my death? Something from the gladiator OST definately, depends on the death. Maybe strength and honor, it has a sound of completion in a way or Immortality from the alexander ST (the only good scene in the movie just about) would be good.
My funeral? The end by the doors? Or something sad like adagio for strings.

Waking up, etc: the mini-fanfare in the first 3 bars of "Pop Muzik" by "M" (that bit of the song that doesn't fit in, a bit like me and society)

Dramatic entrance: Hmmm, I don't know... none of the songs I really know are dramatic... Anything classical, possibly "Hall of the Mountain King", with only the end of said song played in a less dramatic or shorter entrance.

Not-so-dramatic-but-requiring-fanfare entrance: Any one part of Vivaldi's "Gloria: Gloria in Excelsis", perhaps just the chant "Gloria".

Funeral: Not really a theme tune, but a choice for funeral song: depends on how happy I am when I die, and these ideas could change, but:

"Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks (one of the generally regarded WORST SONGS OF ALL TIME!!!) if I had an impressionable life,
"Forever Young" by Alphaville if I had a neutral life,
and something ironic like "I Can See Clearly Now the Rain Is Gone" if it sucked.

First Kiss - "The Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats? or the beginning of Baccara's "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" with the vocals resembling something resembling snogging.

Being Born - The intro to "Blue Monday" beginning with the first push, with the end coinciding with the delivery, with the intro of "Money" by Pink Floyd (ka-CHING!) following.

Dying/Near-Death Experience (preferably the latter for both obvious and musical reasons) - "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, especially the "Will not let you go!" sequence.

He was an anti-semite, but he had nothing to do with the Nazi Party, except that Hitler liked his music and used it for inspiration. Wagner just liked to rite music, he didn't go around preaching against jews, he just didn't particularly like them.

What is your theme song? The song you would play for your dramatic entrances, the one for your 1st kiss, for your death, for your funeral.

Mine is "Sunsets" by Powderfinger.

Add your own, comment, etc.

Actually, I used to have my own TV show, on public access cable. My theme song for the show is one of my theme songs for my life. "The Authority Song" by John Mellencamp.
My show was a lot of political commentary, and I had some sections in it where I had a lot of fun. For example, I always had a segment called "The Bushwhacker" where I would highlight the screwups and ineptitudes committed by Bush in the previous week. To intro that segment, I used to use either "The Logical Song" by Supertramp, or I sometimes used "King Of The Fools" by Twisted Sister.
My show was called D.W.I. and it did not mean what you might think at first glance...and you were SUPPOSED to think the first thought. I MEANT for it to be controversial. Actually, D.W.I. is a motto for my life, and was the motto of my show, too. It was our advice to our viewers. D.W.I. is short for my three-letter attitude on life, "Deal With It!"
I used to tell my viewers that the show was about politics and current events, and my spin on them. And if anyone didn't like it, they should just Deal With It!
And, because it was public access, thus not regulated by the FCC, I used to start my show off with a disclaimer: "Warning! The more conservative your political views are, the more likely this show is to PISS YOU OFF!!"
Oh, I used to get a lot of fun call-ins!! :D
Damn, I wish I could re-launch my show. Gotta find out if we got a public-access station up here, and see about getting my show back on the air. If so, I also gotta see if I can maybe get it to be available by streaming it over the Internet.
I'd have a pile of fun doing that show again.

by a mind that always believed...
That his mind could create me...
Where is he now?
The god from beyond...
I have never seen him,
yet we have always been together...

I'm not one for dramatic entrances. First kiss... let's not talk about that, shall we?

For the rest, I think "Bright eyes" by Art Garfunkel would be most appropriate, I guess.

"The Unforgiven" - Metallica
Excellent choice, sir!

I also like "Wherever I May Roam" and "The Struggle Within" In fact, most of the Black Album kicks ass. too bad Metallica took a nosedive into Hell after that album, never to recover.

Fuck Load and Reload. Fuck the thing with the orchestra they did. Black is the last album Metallica did that was good. Of course, everything before Black kicked ass, too.

Husker Du - "Real World"

People talk about anarchy
And taking up a fight
Well I'm afraid of things like that
I lock my doors at night
I don't rape, and I don't pillage
Other peoples' lives
I don't practice what you preach
And I won't see through your eyes

You want to change the world
By breaking rules and laws
People don't do things like that
In the real world at all
You aren't a cop, or a politician
You're a person too
You can sing any song you want
But you're still the same

I can't think of anything
That makes me more upset
People talk all this rhetoric
Forgive but not forget
I don't rape, and I don't pillage
Other peoples' lives
I don't practice what you preach
And I won't see through your eyes

Nothing gives a sense of fear and power like that song, not even the Imperial March can stack up to this composition.

Also, the Benny Hill theme would work nicely when I embarrass myself and have to make a hasty exit.

Megiddo-The Oath

Great song,powerful lyrics.A runner-up would be the Imperial March from empire strikes back,but I already know a guy who actually uses it,so it´s a no-go :)

I've watched as your empires have fallen
And laughed as your gods have all cried
I've tempted the souls of your pious
And tainted their minds with my lies
I've traveled across all the earth
And i've cursed it with each step i've taken
I've shed the most innocent of blood
In the name of that which you call satan

There are no chains which can hold me
No sword which can pierce through my skin
There are no saints i've not slaughtered
And no evil i've not taken within
There is no sin i've not tasted
No blasphemy i have not embraced
No rule or law i've not broken
No scripture i have not defaced

The oath which binds me to this world
For past times and those yet to come
This oath which has left me immortal
And allows me to outlive the sun
Death it shall never embrace me
It's cold grasp shall not touch my life
I'm bound by the oath to this world
Forever free to spread pestilence and strife

Since other lyrics have been posted, and this is an old song...

Veteran of the Psychic Wars - BOC

You see me now, a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
I've been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And I'm young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
I'm not sure that there's anything left of me

{Refrain}
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
It's time we had some leave
We've been living in the flames
We've been eating out our brains
Oh, please don't let these shakes go on

You ask me why I'm weary
Why I can't speak to you
You blame me for my silence
Say it's time I changed and grew
But the war's still going on, dear
And there's no end that I know
And I can't say if we're ever
I can't say if we're ever gonna be free

{Refrain}

You see me now a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
My energy is spent at last
And my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons
And I'm helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all I'm made of
Did I hear you say that this is victory

{As Refrain}
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
Send me to the rear
Where the tides of madness swell
And been sliding into hell
Oh, please don't let shakes go on
Don't let these shakes go on
Don't let these shakes go on

I found the lyrics to That's Death, so I'm-a gonna post 'em.

There's a place you're always welcome,
It's as nice as it can be,
Everyone can get in,
'cause it's absolutely free.

That's Death!
No need to take a breath.
Just lie around all day,
With not a single bill to pay,
Hooray!

That's Death!
No more sicknesses or flu.
If you've lived beyond your means,
You can die beyond 'em too!
Boohoo!

Well the greatest and the finest,
Hummm, have already died!
Why not simply join them?
On the other side!

That's Death!
Say farewell to all your bills,
Rip up all your wills,
And pop your final pills!
Amen!

That's Death!
It's a tait-a-tait with fate.
If your not feeling great,
Then it's the best way to lose weight,
Mate!

Noting here to hurt you.
No one's here to nag!
Come die with me,
If your life's a drag!

That's Death!
That's Death!

For wealthy and well breed!
All of them are here,
And there all completely dead.
Stone Dead

That's Death!
That's Death!
No more headaches,
No more pain.
Of the millions who've died,
No one came back to complain!
Uh-huh!

You can't take it with you,
You can't keep what you've got!
So why not just lie back,
And simply rot!

That's Death!
Just simply rot!
That's Death!
It's so cool, It's hot!
That's Death!

That's Death.

Actually following the prompt-

Entrance music-Santa Cruz by The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and not just because that's where I live.

First kiss-Prelude to Kiss by Duke Ellington would be too cheesy. (though, that was pretty close. That song was playing and my first girlfriend asked what it was. After it finished, well you get the idea. Look, we where young...) I'll go with Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny

Sex-Penetration by by the Challengers.
what?
You think I should maybe pick a song longer than 2 minutes and 31 seconds?
Why?

oh...then I'll go with Love Supreme by John Coltrane. That should give us enough time...
(no shit, that just started playing right after I typed that, though it's the Santana/McLaughlin/Mahavishnu version...)

Death would have to go to Lacrymosa performed by the Kronos Quartet

Funeral would have to go back to the Dirty Dozen, this time The Lost Souls.

Driving themes are too numerous to list.

And the last response to the thread was at the end of November, it's not so much a grave rob as a coma recovery...

Driving: Anything by GNR, AC/DC, Aerosmith, or Motley Crue.
