Changing driving habits with higher and higher gas prices

How many of you are changing your driving habits, whether it's your style (e.g. actually driving the speed limit, coasting more, etc...) or changing your route, consolidating errands and planning out your route more beforehand, now that gas prices around the world are steadily climbing and showing no sign of slowing down?

How many of you either have or are considering to buy a hybrid or more fuel-effeceint car as a result from this unstoppable increase? Do you want to bash in H2s or H3s that you see driving around? I can say for myself that I am driving more conservatively, and I am reducing any needless trips around town. I coast a lot longer before red lights and I try to accelerate as little as possible. If you have your own driving tips to save on gas, please feel free to share them, as I'm sure many people here would want to learn them.

As a final note, how big of a burden are the gas prices making on your finances, and if you aren't changing your habits, how expensive will gas have to be for you to consider changing them? Or are you just that rich? :p

I don't actually drive that much, and I prefer getting the bus anyway. At the weekend I saw a petrol station charging £1.05 per litre. That's almost $9 a gallon. Which is part of the reason why. When I do drive though, I do coast a lot, though I always have done, and if I'm at the top of a hill, I put it in neutral and just roll down using the brakes, or, if there's no traffic about, not using the brakes so much (yes, I know that's rather dangerous, but it saves money), then keep it in neutral until I've slowed down considerably .
