Y'know what? I haven't seen a decent Neo-Nazi in ages. Be one of them.

The game alone is quite boring. You need to chat to come back.

But NS is horribly addictive. Make sure it doesn't get in the way of the more important stuff.

LOL I've found this game takes EVERYTHING you choose to extremes.

Perfect example? I chose to allow cloning for research purposes. Now, half my population is cloned - and because I chose to allow organ donation as an option, those clones are being killed for their organs!

Even the "moderate" choices will be taken to extremes. So, this is something to keep in the back of your mind - figure out the worst case scenario - and that'll be what you're chosing between when the issues arrive. If you don't like either of the two worst case scenarios - dismiss the issue.. or not - and see what happens - most of the time it's great for a laugh or two.

Oh, and make sure to buy your computer some heat resistant material, you're going need all the protection you can get.

Phoenix Rose and Angry Fruit Salad are right. The other thing to remember is that you are not obliged to accept an issue you think is a nonstarter from *any* angle. Don't be afraid to dismiss an issue you think is just plain silly or where *all* the answers feel wrong to you. ^_~

Uh...you know that nations can be resurrected, no?

If you hang out in "General", avoid the abortion topics at all costs.

Seriously, out of all the topics that get debated to death (Iraq, war on terror, christian vs non/anti-christian, guns/no guns, America is evil...etc...etc...), abortion threads probably get less accomplished than any other topic.

the name Anticathera is the name of a greek island, its posible that the name is latin, but i do not know, that iam aware of the name has nothing to do with catholic

Also, If you make a mistake or make someone mad, just wait a day or 2. NS has a notoriously short memory.

That's because all of the conservatives are out in the woods somewhere, honing their shootin' skills and attending bible study. The liberals are sitting in front of their computer flaming anything that moves.

I would also recomend heading over to the Moderation section and reading all the stickies over there. If you have any questions (about the rules), start a thread in Moderation, the Mods are really helpful.

Just try not to annoy them. ;)

I tried moving to another forum as I was looking for one more balanced in terms of number of liberals vs. conservatives, Christians vs. Non-Christians, Republicans vs. Democrats, etc. I found one, but there was lots of screaming and name-calling, and it wasn't very well moderated, so I came back here lol.

This is spamming, and its not appreciated. Take all of your anti-Bush antics, and start a civil debate instead of spamming and hijacking other peoples' threads for it. If you continue to do it, you will receive a more appropriate punishment.

In this case, and this case only, I was accualy trying to give him good advice. You, of all people, should know that being a vocal liberal makes your life alot easier then anything else. Oh, and i mentioned nothing about bush in my whole conversation on this thread.

Antikythera, some advice, never let your emotions get the better of you in any debate, once that happens, you'll find yourself flaming, trolling, and flamebaiting that will earn you mod attention and that is not good.

Don't be afraid to step away from a topic and calm down. taking a breather is not a sign of concession or giving up.

If you want to try your hand at Role Playing, you can check out the RP section of the NS Forums, or for a lighter look, check out the Paradise Beach Club.

Partake in any debate you want, but don't feel like you HAVE to.

Pay heed Antikythera, the mods are nice people here, they sometimes tend to be strict, but they endevor to be fair. Getting them mad is never a good thing.
