Which side of the war do you support?
with the recent cease fire between the maoists and the monarchists, i was wondering which sides people on nationstates would support?
i think both sides have some good points, what about you people? i'm pretty shure the majority of you would probably favour the maoists.
i know; the war's pretty much over(for now(with neither winning)), so it's more of which side would you have supported, then.

i'd probably just stay in the middle, playing each side against the other for my own gain.
oops, forgot to include which war it was :p ; well, it's the Nepali civil war happening right now. here's a news article about it if you want to know more about it:

Humor me...why would NS vote for the maoists?
I feel like i'm going to regret it. Are you trying to say all NS'ers are commies?
Hate the government?
Because of their lack of understanding on this conflict, they'll agree with whatever you said based on articles put down? =)

i didn't say they all would. just a large majority of people here seem to dislike large government or giving too much power to too few people.
and the article is pretty biased for the Nepali government, but it is a government newspaper and not an insurgent newspaper.
any topic about the war with u.s. and iraq always has a bunch of people talking in it, noone finds the Nepali civil war interesting?
i guess i'm just talking to myself here, heheh.

I just happen to hate monarchy, in every aspect and form of existing. Mao wasn't really a nice fellow, I think, and not propably the best role model for these brave young men using the name of his ideology, but as long as they are killing those who support crown-people, it's ok with me.

Although I normally don't support Maoists, they seem to be the better pick over an absolute despotic monarch who can dissolve parliament at will. At least the communists support the average worker.

Monarchy, at this point it seems the lesser of two evils rather then allowing another Mao-inspiried communist country to form and there's plenty of support in Nepal for the King.
