Well I have found quite a good site for you all to check out:

www.vgmusic.com (http://www.vgmusic.com)

Essentially, it gives you midis of all your old favourites. I personally have been checking out the old Final Fantasy soundtracks (got love "Eyes on me" from FF8). So enjoy and relate your gaming musical storys here!

Sephiroith! adds in orchestra

You know you're badass when you have an orchestra follow you around just to sing during one of your fights.

It wasn't that he was that evil, but damn it he looked evil as hell. Whoever designed him must have been one sick and twisted bastard.

"Listen to me now and believe me pretty soon. My name is Sven, Sven T. Uncommon!" Popful Mail, for the SegaCD- "Limping puddle of baby fat" rivals only "punky chops" for nicknames a final boss gives your character. And of course, there's his immortal "Oh, the little infant has a brain. How impressive When did you graduate from potty school" with the Austrian accent, and his follow up, "Such a smaht baby, it is scary. I could almost cry, but then I would have to eat quiche."

As for music, Lufia & The Fortress of Doom. All of it. It's the only reason for the game, past the first hour or so, but it's brilliant.
Also, BoF I's second overworld music.
