Since Tulane may not be operational for a very long time, considering it is in New Orleans and reports say heavily damaged, many universities around the country are opening their doors. Today, Boston University, as well as UCONN, and Central/Western/Eastern/Southern Connecticut State Universities announced their plans. Here is the link to BU's

If you have any information about other universities, please post it here. If you have friends or family at Tulane, let them know about the options.

Here's a page concerning the University of Wisconsin - Madison's assistance for any students displaced from their institutions or enrolled residents that have relatives in the area, as well as a link to the University of Wisconsin System's efforts to help in this time of need.

It seems that pretty much every major university is opening up in this time of need. I suggest students of Tulane simply go the websites of any university they are interested in, and check it out. Chances are they are offering you admission.

My alma mater, Southern Methodist University is taking in a bunch of their students, and their football team is staying here for a while.
