Ok, I've been on the forum for a while, and I've observed some of the Religion versus Atheism threads. They always look something like this:
Jerk Atheist: YOU CHRISTIAN SUCK!!!!! Stop worshiping thin air, and prove that your imaginery friend exists!
Christian: Let me believe what I want! Why do I have to be flamed in all these threads? :(
Jerk Atheist: Because your stupid, because Darwin disproved God! Muahahahah!!! We also screwed you with the Big Bang that disproved God!!
Christian: But The "Big Bang" hasn't been proven. How could you obseve some thing that happened before anyone was born? Besides, even if you did prove it, How does that disprove God?
Jerk Atheist: It just does! You are ignorant, and I can't believe there are people like you in the world!
Good Atheist: Stop that! Let him believe whatever the hell he wants! Your making the rest of us look bad!
Jerk Atheist: Your one of them! Traitor! We will have to destroy you, or Christianity may take over the world!

Jerk Atheist: Religion is evil! It ruins peoples fun, and it killed people in the Middle Ages hundreds of years ago!

In my experience it's more often than not the other way around, but whatever. That's the gist of it. And despite pointing this out these futile debates will continue for the rest of time. One of a multitude of reasons I dislike the internet.

Yeah. It's funny, though. The jerk Atheists that always say that God has been disproven, and insulting the Christian's inteligence, and the Jerk Christians always telling the Atheist that they will go to hell.
Than there are the few good Christians, and Atheists that want a debate, or they are smart enough to realize that this is stupid.
All this over something that noone can ever prove, or disprove. LOL! :D
i'd have to admit i'm probably the first aethiest, although i don't swear. i'm more moral than many of the christians i've met, heheh :p , don't swear, don't do anything that would harm my country(atleast, try not to), don't do drugs, don't help those that don't help the government, honour all things that must be killed for a good purpose, ect. most of the christians i've met were the opposite.

You left out the n00bish Christian and the n00bish athiest though. The ones who couldn't come up with a valid argument if their life depended on it.

Personally I find that everyone who disagrees with me to be a pig ignorant jerk of some hew or another who should see the error of their ways after being shown why they are wrong... :D
I also find that they tend to feel the same about me...
I consider myself to be a Jerk N00b Aethiest, well thats put my life into perspective :( ah well i have my reasons to be this much of an arsehole.

I don't know what evidence there is for the Big Bang, but then again I haven't taken astronomy. As for the observance: Light has this way of traveling at a set speed, so we've actually been able to observe celestial phenomena that happened a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. ;)

you should try and include other religions in there.not in the sake of fairness but to give us more to laugh about.
