Yes, that source sounds completely credible, and objectively reports nothing but the facts.

Pravda...formerly the strong hold of communists, then the voice of Russian democracy...now little more than a Cyrillic WeeklyWorldNews

But... but Pravda wouldn't lie to us! Its very name means truth, neh?

The slaughter of innocents is terrifying enough, but I'm even more worried about the mysterious amphibious human-like creature (http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/378/15170_amphibious.html) recently discovered in the Caspian Sea. Sure, we may *think* they're like finned versions of Captain Planet, here to save our oceans from pollution, but can anyone really claim to know the true purpose of such an enigmatic fish-man?

This story is actually pretty close to the most common report of the story. I've read a ton of these things about that event, simply because I saw it on our own American news while watching the hurricane reports. And I was amused that multiple TV news agencies reported 70 insurgents killed, yet when I got home and started seeing it on the net everything read 7 insurgents, 56 civilians.

Of course I stopped believing these stories coming from either side a long time ago. What I think doesn't effect anything but my own bitching anyway. But I can always find amusement in the fact that the news on TV never matches what I find on my computer.

Thanks Mitigation, I was kinda wondering what sort of news people were listening to not to have heard the story. It was all over the news in my part of the US.
