Kinda pointless calling it a pointless device when one of its many uses is surfing porn anywhere you can get a wireless signal. ;)

On the contrary....it's always been like this for the early months of new consoles. The GBA had shitty release games and it took a while of waiting before good games came out.

That's true, meteos and super mario DS are alot better (especially meteos), but it's still a great game.

;) Nintendo doesn't care about the European market as much as the Japanese and the North American. You guys got all the release games because they were already out for a long time in Japan and North America.

Of course, I would never advocate theft of media from those companies who richly deserve to sell thier movies on dvd for exorbitant amounts....
But..I hear that the PSP has certain qualities useful for things of an illicit nature.

Nope. For the simple reason that the PS1/2 games are full-size discs. The PSP games are not.

Apparently, old nintendo, sega, intellivision games are available to sownload to it. Maybe PS1 and PS2 games can be converted to PSP format. That's a bit out of my league, though. :p

Yep, it can emulate. But it's not worth it to not get to have the 2.0 browser. The 2.0 update doesn't let you have emulators....for now.
