I just hope the women weren't incredibly ugly. That would add insult to injury. Also why the hell would they pull a gun on him? Why not just ask if he wants to have sex?

Don't be such an ass. That is your comment? GO!
Nobody would find it funny if it was a woman who was the victim, so I see no reason for amusement in this case either.

 I guess I will have to be more vigilant of woman trying to sleep with me
Yeah, it's still rape even though it was a guy. And it isn't funny in the least.

Quite frankly, even after re-reading that article, it strikes me as strange. My personal opinion is that the police report for a sexual assault is a ploy to cover something else up. He went to a hotel with three strange women, had drinks, then agreed to accompany them to another hotel.
After the alleged attack, he went home before contacting the police. To me, it sounds more like "But Honey, they pulled a gun on me, and force me to have sex with them!" I could well be proven wrong, but this strikes me as implausible.
If my opinion continues to offend, I'm sorry. As a law enforcement officer, I am well aware of the trauma caused by sexual assault. I am also well aware of the duplicitous nature of many people.
And it isn't funny in the least.
We say that but we know it is.

Honestly, how and why would a woman rape a man? If a woman wants sex she can just go ask a random guy at a bar and he would probably consent, even ugly women can do this with the super-drunk. And how? If a man doesn't want it, it doesn't go up (does it? I'm a woman and don't know). If a man doesn't want sex this is a rarity that should be apprieciated and respected, what the women did was pointless but very wrong!!

In a guy that age, "it" would "go up" from the sight of three naked women. It's involuntary. Even if he wasn't attracted to them. As you get older, of course, it gets harder to... get it harder :-P but at 30?
Anyway, last I heard about 5% of all rapes are women raping men. It does happen. Another thing to keep in mind is that rape isn't about sex, it's about violence and power over another person. Some rapists have loving wives and are sexually fulfilled. It's not a "horny" thing, or at least not all the time.
If it WAS just a "horny" thing, I'm sure that the 3 20-somethings could go up to the best-looking guy in a bar, and tell him straight-out that he can have all three at once. Not many guys would refuse, unless they're gay or not available. Sure, there are many guys out there who don't want to have anonymous sex, but seriously....
Anyway, so it was violence, not sex.
Rape is rape - it doesn't matter who does it.
Female on male rape does occur, but it is very seldom reported because of the attitude displayed in the replies here "Lol, it doesn't matter, it was a man". I happen to know someone who was raped by a woman and he was pretty traumatised by it for a while. Sure, laugh it up and claim it's not a problem - but it's just an incredibly sexist view to take. We are supposed to have equality and yet if a woman commits a crime like domestic abuse or rape then we laugh it off, whereas if a man does it we say it is one of the worst things a person can do?
Hmm, I have never gotten an involuntary erection from seeing anyone naked that I was not interested in sexually. Three naked men or three naked women would have no effect on me. Perhaps when I was 11, but not after elementary school.

@Phasa:
Really? Maybe it varies from person to person. However, consider, these were three 20-somethings... there's a difference between an attractive body and a person who you have a particular sexual interest for. The animal part responds to the stimuli AND thoughts, not just thoughts.

What the hell people? It is never cool to make fun of rape. A person was raped. Get that into your heads. There is no grey area, it's a big black line that should never even be wandered onto.

Not every guy wants “Free Sex“. We aren’t all animals.

Exactly. The attitude here is just like with those female teachers who have sex with their students. We joke about it and give them lighter sentences, but it is still statutory rape.
Guys (girls, too): Get it through your head. Just like all girls are a little bit different, all guys are a little bit different. Some guys don't WANT to have sex at every opportunity *gasp!* I have a male friend who was raped - it's uncommon, but it happens. Just because you're willing to have sex with three women, doesn't mean everyone is.
Also, why hasn't anybody speculated on what the WOMEN were thinking? *grin* Personally, I'm amused at the idea that they're hardcore feminists trying to turn the patriarchy on its ear. But seriously, it sounds like some hardcore dominance thing. Ooh! Maybe it was arranged on the internet and he was the wrong man.
Oh, and in my experiences, stimulation can get any man hard.
