The Joker, he really is a representation of insanity, he kills for no real reason at times, or does not kill for no reason either. He's almost compleatly random.

Not sure. I'm tempted to simply say Juggernaut or Exodus for sentimental reasons, but I really don't think of them as truly tragic figures so much as power-mad henchmen, which is usually a lesser form of villiany. As such, I'd probably have to go with Magneto.

Can I just point out how lame Apocalypse is? He's been around since the beginnings of human civilization, and he's yet to be able to conquer the world (except in the Age of Apocalypse alternate timeline). He could have dominated the world ages ago when man was first building cities, before there were hundreds and hundreds of other mutants to oppose him, and but he didn't. What a loser.

Oh, and I voted for Magneto, though Lex Luthor was a close second. I love a bad guy who isn't just a totally insane evildoer. I love a bad guy who can help the good guys out if it serves his interests. So much more devious. :)

I always thought of him as kind of "meh" myself. Sure, he's got just about every mutant ability not given to Magneto, but he always struck me as mightily incompetent.

His son Holocaust, on the other hand, is one of the worst bastards in Marvel history. His very essence is destruction, and I've never forgiven him for killing Exodus.

That's another thing. He's supposed to be one of the most powerful mutants ever, and he still manages to get defeated time and time again.

Krang (or Kang) I know it sounded like Tang

your right i just looked it up.

Krang: A disembodied brain who was a warlord in Dimension X before he was exhiled and had his body taken away. Krang usually "wears" a large robot body and controls it from the a compartment in the torso area, or uses a "bubble walker". He also owns the Technodrome, an enormous mobile fortress used as his and Shredder's headquarters. He also funds and helps plan most of Shedder's schemes. Krang was inspired by the original comics' "Utroms," who were also sentient alien brains, but did good deeds on earth. Voiced by Pat Fraley.

Harvey Dent/Two Face

A conflicted district attorney who saw everything he stood for being ignored and thrown in the trash and then was horribly disfigured on the day he was going to finally bring down the biggest crimelord in Gotham. Tragic villains are always better then the regular smash destroy types.

I do like the Joker as a bad guy, but my favorite would have to be "Blofeld" from James Bond. A european super bad guy is so much more believable.

Marvel: Legion

DC: Poison Ivy

Ultimate Super Hero: Mojo Jojo [edit] villain, I meant villain.

Lex Luthor would be my favorite even if John Byrne did ruin him by making him a suiit. >_<

P'gell from "the Spirit", Catwoman from "Batman", and the Flash's "Rogue Gallery villains" were all pretty good too. ^_^

He can turn any pile of dirt into mud by merely adding water.
He weilds his mighty Groin Tazer of Doom(tm).
He can turn beer into piss in only a few hours.

It was a toss-up between Dr. Doom and...Ultron 5.

Ultron-5 always seemed so creepy to me, maybe its just the face, combined with the clever cruel evility.

Oh no, made up a new word. Ugh! :p

As long as he can use it to make figurines.

He weilds his mighty Groin Tazer of Doom(tm).

Didn't doom me.

e can turn beer into piss in only a few hours.

Now, if he could do the reverse, and turn piss into beer, I'd be impressed.

I'll have to research that one.
