no, I think that is a legitimate question, and perhaps Max will choose to answer it...or not. I've met Max, personally, when he was on tour in America for Jennifer Government, still have my autographed book to prove it, too.

I had never read any of Max's books prior to Jennifer Government, had never even HEARD of him until NationStates...and I found Jennifer Government to be a very intriguing, and very absorbing novel. I very much enjoyed it.

If you didn't....certainly that is your right...and you have the right to express that you didn't enjoy it...and perhaps WHY you didn't. But not on a thread intended to congratulate Max and his wife on their new arrival. THAT is what I found to be in poor taste.
