Yet another crackpot disguising hate as belief.

There's a lot of swedish, but bear with it, cause the english parts are to die for

What a maniac.

But the upside, if there was nothing more interesting to show on Swedish television then apparently all is well there.

Don't pay any heed to what Fred Phelps says, almost everyone but the most extreme agrees that he is the biggest crackpot in the western hemisphere.

If they are allowed entry into the Realm, they will without doubt break Swedish law, and they should thus be denied entry.

Quietly, because they do not deserve attention. If they are allowed entry and end up getting arrested and prosecuted, which they will be if they do what they have in the US, that will just lavish them with more of the attention they crave.

So, I hope they are simply stopped at the border and quickly deported to whence they came.

Until a couple of months ago, I thought Phelps was dead...I guess dreams don't come true. :(

P.S. To answer your question, I don't hate Sweden. ;)

If you're American, you are immediately struck with a -3 in oratory skills. You'd have to be quite a skilled speaker to overcome that.

The nasality lost, and Received Pronunciation in play, you'd get a +2.

Wellll.....ABBA did start in Sweden so perhaps He does.
Then again, Sweden let ABBA lose upon the rest of the world, so maybe the question should be: "Does Sweden hate the world?"

Fred Phelps, democrat and civil rights attorney. What else do you expect?

But what did that Green fellow do?
Sonaj
30-08-2005, 18:48
Green called homosexuals 'a plague' and said that they should be removed.

'I wish you would´ve been killed, but don´t take it personaly'. How can you not take that personaly!?

Btw, the swedish parts are pretty fun :p And if the king would´ve said that, someone probably would´ve told him to 'shove it'. Nothing he says means anything more than any other swede.

We have plenty of freedom of speech, but those kinds of remarks aren´t legal. Some things that are illegal to say/print in the states might be legal here, in which case I could say the same thing.

I thought so, but he's just not fabulous enough and he doesn't overcompensate [as far as i know]. He was just a 2nd generation immigrant and was desperate to integrate and at the time shit like ABBA and The Bee Gees were popular.

1. He wasn't locked up.
2. You seem to lack a basic knowledge of freedom of speech laws if you think that freedom of speech is non-existent because it has boundaries. Yes, even that rickety beacon upon a hill that is the US has boundaries on freedom of speech. Would you claim there to be none in the US because of them, or is it just when it protects a minority you don't like that you make such silly comments?

1. Did he, or did he not go to jail?

2. Appart from the prohibition that one may not incite imediate danger - such as shouting fire in a crowded theater - there are no restrictions on the content of speech in the US. Get over it.
