Silly question.

The answer, of course, is that New York is the greatest city anywhere, hands down. Not that there are not many other fine cities, with their own special qualities, but NYC is #1 on this globe (extraterrestrial cities will have to be evaluated as discovered).

Damn right we're pissed. Vancouver was voted the best party city in North American. Vancouver would have my vote.
