^ What a terrible name for a war. I mean the Gulf War, the War in Iraq, who comes up with those names? The Vietnam War, the Korean, War. come on! No wonder people protested, those names are so dreadfully uncreative. You need a good name if you want it to catch on.
Example:
Gulf War II: The Final Confrontation

They really should give mouse ears to the insurgents...

To be fair, at least their operations are named in the style of Playstation games. Operation ultimate freedom!

Yeah, but when it comes to the war itself, they're lazy asses.

I like that idea, give wars neat and creative titles.

The Hundred Years War: Operation Needless Longevity
Iraq II: Confused Agenda
Korean War: Definition of Stalemate
Vietnam War: Homefront Spanks the Battlefront
World War I: Me, My Spade, and I
The II Punic War: Curious Hannibal and the Elephants
The III Punic War: Catargo Delenda Erat

"But more importantly we're about to commence Operation: Bomb the Crap Out of Your House!... The guy who thinks up the names is on vacation."

How about 'Operation: Fill-in-the-blank'? It can be whatever you need it to be - good, bad, indifferent...

Gulf War II: The Final Confrontation
I point you in the direction of the First Afghan War (1839-1842), Second Afghan War (1878-1880), Third Afghan War (1919), Fourth Afghan War (1979-1989), Fifth Afghan War (2001- ), and I'm sure many more to come.

The problem with naming wars like movies is, the sequels frequently prove embarrassing.
