Crosshairs: New Orleans
Well, it looks like Katrina is heading directly for the Big Easy, New Orleans. With the help of warm waters, the massive hurricane has reached category 5. Not only that, but the city is below sea level and right on the coast. The sustained wind speed of Katrina is already at 175 mph and will increase even further as it reaches land. Storm surge flooding is expected to rise to 25 feet with even higher waves, creating a flurry of tornadoes. This could very well be the hurricane of the century, totally devastating New Orleans and wiping it off the map.

Everyone living in New Orleans better go borrow a boat and put everything they want in it with a tarp on it, because they are going to be swimming.

Actually, I think the state government has told residents to leave altogether.

Well I'm packed up and leaving. Heading for the Superdome to help with the "refugees" there. Gotta stop by the Red Cross and grab some things and off I go.
Ya'll probably won't hear from me for a couple of days. I doubt I'll have internet access. See ya'll soon!
