if you could have any superpower (that you don't already have) what would it be?

I would have the ability to be super sexy to women (although meat vision is appealing)

To be able to strangle people through the internet.

I would like to be able to morph my shape and stuff. I would finnaly be able to see what's inside the woman's bathroom.

Clairtangency.

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it is an offshoot of clairvoyance and telekinesis.

The gist of it is that I would have the power to visualize remote locations and manipulate objects at those locations.

I'd want complete control over time. I'd be able to speed up, slow, or freeze time either universally or in select locations. I think that beats the pants of pretty much anything else mentioned here so far :p

The power to know which threads to read before opening. Would save a lot of time.

I would have the ability to have multiple super-powers. Yay for loopholes. Mind control, ability to morph into anything my mind comes up with, the ability to control force fields, super intelligence, etc. I would even be able to turn powers off.

I'd like the ability to manipulate the powers of others (turn them on, turn them off, adjust their targets). You may be able to shoot lightning out of your ass at will, but I could turn it on at inopportune moments, completely making you look like an ass as you electrocute the bride's mother the next time you attend a wedding. All I have to do is have someone with powers near me and I can use them as my artillery, and, should any of you fools try to stop me, I can render you impotent.

Time travel and Time freezing. If they count as two, then time freezing and the ability to unfreeze specific things/people as a sign-on bonus.

This has been quite the impressive thread. Myself, I'd go for the ability to speak Womanese. That'd be a nice step towards understanding.

I would want the ability to instinctively know the emotions of others. Reading minds is all well and good, but I bet it would get boring. If you can read emotions 100% accurately, you really don’t need to read minds, but then you don’t have the monotony of always knowing what somebody is going to say or do. Plus, you can use the emotions thing on animals too. Being able to read the minds of most animals would be almost useless.

I would prefer the ability to look into other peoples head. Um. Metaphorically.
Or to visit other peoples inner worlds, or to talk to them as a voice inside their heads.

That or the ability to fiddle with my subconsious brain (first act would be to create a backup). I do not know alot about psychology, but being able to change your suvconsious mind could produce many positive changes, and negative changes.

PS- South Islands, I can see inside the woman's washroom, what I want to know is: Is the males washroom as dirty as it is said to be on TV?

I'd go with being able to control all electronic objects. And I'd use my powers for evil. EVIL! Turning off lights when people are carrying heavy objects. Making people's computers switch off when they're about to complete a really hard game. I'd be the Ultimate Super Villain. Mwahahahahahaha.

Damn you. Thats exactly what I want for a super-power. Hrrmmm....we could have interesting Time Wars, except I'd trump with my additional not-so-super-power: The ability to read the minds of earthworms!

Not a particularly useful power, unless you're planning on becoming a butcher.

Following on from 'Call to power's request, I'd like the ability to make people poo themselves instantly. I'd never get tired of that joke, especially when watching live performances by Paris Hilton, Britany Spears, any and every boy's band, gangsta rappers, the Oscars presentations or any and every politician.

These are all well and Good, but, from a long term perspective, I'd much rather have the ability to step out of my body, and enter someone elses. thereby taking control of there body, and for all intents and purposes living forever. Sure, the person I'm taking over wouldnt like it that much, but I'd have a LONG time to get over any guilt I might feel :D

I'd have to go with omnipotence, personally. Can't really beat omnipotence if you're looking for a superpower.

If i could have any superpowers they would be unlimited wealth in addition to the power to be irresistable to guys, and the power to read peoples minds. It would also be pretty cool to snap my fingers and get what i want or transport myself to another location with the snap of a finger.

• A power someone else proposed earlier is extremely appealing: the ability to freeze time, as in the movie Clockstoppers, except without the side effect that if you overuse it you die early.
• I might also like to be omniscient. I could alert people about disasters before they occurred, get a perfect on every test, and never misspell a word again :D
• The ability to conjure things out of thin air would put a quick stop to the tragedy of world hunger, among other things.
