Read this article about today's economics:

This article has some very true facts which, for people who know I'm pretty conservative on economic issues, aggrevate me. I believe that the laws have been made to aide corporate progress, as the numbers show, and now it's time to show why helping business helps the workers.

But it just hasn't happened yet. This is such a chance for conservatives to prove their point, yet they stumble. I hate politicians!!!

Didn't we prove that trickle down economics, while it looks good on paper, doesn't work in a practical world?

When it was tried in the 1980's we ended up with huge deficits and lay-offs across the country. Clinton improved that but GWB went back to the way things were and unemployment is at an all time high, the dollar is worth less (the Euro is actually becoming worth more than the US dollar), the rich get richer and the poor get their jobs shipped to India.

When Clinton left office there was a budget surplus. Since then, GWB has resurrected a deficit 3 times the size it was prior to Clinton gaining office.
