cindy sheehan, wuzzername-- that dead coma broad; all of these sensationalist "human [fucking] interest" stories. i don't know about the rest of you, but these Major News Stories that actually affect, what, maybe 5 or 6 people in a nation of many millions get me all vibraty with unquenchable fury. oh, the wasted effort! oh, the wasted time! oh, the wasted money and thought! how many hundreds of millions of people are there in this country? here's a notion: Bad things happen to some of them. some of them (gasp!) disagree with you. this is not news. i'm tired of people getting all up in arms over things that have no real bearing on their lives. which is where you folk come in. you may have noticed the title of this thread, in which i encourage you to maybe shut the vitriol off for a bit, albeit not in so many words. if someone in this nation is taking advantage of our hypersensitive media (who could maybe go for some violent video games to, well, desensitize them to such matters) to fix whatever little hiccup life has thrown their way, be it, ahem, a life ending coma or a dead son. ok, that came out a tad inhuman. i digress. wait. no. i was done. i think. whatever. i've said my piece. it's somewhere in there^.

I agree somewhat. I'm not sure about the whole "Don't talk about it if it doesn't affect you" think that I think you said in the beginning.
I do agree that there are many people on both sides of the issues who really just want something to be righteously indignant about. Especially with the Cindy Sheehan thing.

ok, to be fair, this was mostly just an aimless rant. you can kinda tell from the trailing off at the end there.
