I don't think two days even qualifies as a "relationship".

2 Days. That beats my cousin's shortest of four days. It was pretty weird. They broke up because she kissed her ex, but he was cheating on the girl who he was cheating on his fiance with.

2 days. Going out Wednesday evening, broke up Friday evening. And I didn't see her on the Thursday.

I guess about 45 minutes, if you want to count the time from the start of our first date to when I walked out in disgust.

My first relationship was a bundle of confusions. We were together for about a day and had been good friends before then, but I have no clue what happened... :(

Nope. She seemed nice, until she started picking on some Jewish kids, started talking about Audis and started saying stupid stuff about how the Germans had UFOs and stuff during WW2...I was seriously freaked out.

(And the UFOs bit just shows how desperate the Nazis were for "Geheimwaffen" that could win the war...)

If one evening smooching and dry-humping counts: about 4 hours or 20 hours (we did not break up, but just did not talk to each other anymore).

If not: 2 YEARS and 2 MONTH as the SHORTEST. Beat that.

I think I win.

Oh yeah, and for length, 4 1/2 years.

Technically it's a relationship even if you don't call and the only reason you said yes was to avoid being surrounded by crazy females that might be displeased at you for declining to cooperate with their ultimatum, right?

You turned down a bisexual girl just because she was bisexual? You don't win; you lose.

I agree, though some part of me thinks that doing that as a joke might make a really funny joke to a detached observer. Not sure about how it would go with involvement though.

And not even because of bisexuality issues, just cuz she didn't tell. I dunno, I hope I communicated the humorous thought I had...

it's not as if that's a promise for hot threesomes... it's notice that she has sexual desires you'll never satisfy... unless she IS promising fidelity mixed with hot threesomes... that's different of course, in which case it's madness to turn down.

otoh... you haven't told us why she was an immoral freak, I thought it was the bisexuality that bothered you.

I’d have done the same. I find innocence attractive. Bisexuality is not innocent in my eyes.

My shortest relationship was three days, but I'm young yet.

Wethere she's bisexual or not should make no difference, it's her choice and if you turned her down for it then you didn't deserve her

2 Days. Didn't like her cause she was a nazi (not joking).

me thinks it was this one time with a really nice prostitute....about 45 minutes or so.

j/k....sorta,the shortest i ever had was when i was 14 and we went out for like 2 days,my buddies sister, then her dad caught us on the pool table when we were supposed to be in school.the next day, after slapping me around...sent her to live with her aunt about 10 states away.at 14 ,and in that time(no cell phones..long distance got you a beating from dad..obviously no way to drive)we parted ways permenantly.
sucked cause i really liked her(plus she was hot at 14 ..lol)but we were all pretty bad kids and i guess the old man thought it was best to get her away from us losers.
i still think about her to this day...almost 30 years later.what coulda been if it was allowed to develop...wishfull thinking maybe, but since i have been divorced and have kids, and i am getting old..i have been doing the whole what if thing lately.

My opinion about a person should make no difference as to whether or not I date them? How does that make any sense at all?

Asked her out on the monday night, she dumped me on the friday night at a party. We went out twice during that time, and it seemed alright but she decided she 'didn't like me that way'. This guy who was big on spreading rumours told her all sorts of bullshit, but I don't know if that had any effect. On the saturday night, I went to another party, got pissed and hooked up with about 4 girls, 2 of whom were sisters.

Was an interesting week.
(it was a week during april hols when I was 16, hence all my free time.)

When does somethinmg become a "relationship"? A couple of days together sounds like "two dates" or "sleeping with a nazi a couple of times", not a relationship.

Never been in a relationship, but I resent the "woe is me" label! ;)

Seriously though, this one time I fell asleep in Chem Lab when I was 15, and a girl whose name I didn't even know would have been the last one to leave the classroom, leaving me behind, but instead walked over to me and said "______, wake up, you'll be late." That's right, using my Christian name. Not "hey, you there" or "hey, asshole," but my actual name. That's probably the most intense (and only) experience I can recall involving the opposite gender.. I was pretty dumbfounded that she knew my name even though I didn't know her, and cared enough to wake me up. I still remember it vivdly even though I'm 21 now, going on 22.

A one-night stand doesn't strike me as a relationship, really. Assuming that were talking about something that actually lasted a measurable amount of time, my shortest was two weeks. Longest: over 6 years.

Not at all, that was my point. "Relationships" are fine, but not necessary for everyone. Study and hobbies occupy my time, and I'm not "sad" in any way. :) "Little," on the other hand, would be a welcome change.. I need to drop about 20lbs.. not that I'm fat, but I have a heart condition that makes it risky to be too heavy, even if my BMI is normal. That sucks.

1 month. That was my shortest.. and I just could not continue on with it. The guy was an asshat. I'm not kidding.. what a stuck up.. ugh...

The longest I've been in by the way was 2 years.

I had a lot of bad times with relationships after my first one (with the guy for two years)... I'm not sure what happens.. but anyways.. it seems like everything is changing for the better... I've had four "relationships" after my first but seriously I don't consider any of them genuine... until now meeting David (my current bf).

To bring up a lighter night...

I'm currently seeing a guy... and it is going very well... I like his qualities.. and for once in a long time.. I have a guy who listens to me and can have a conversation without only bringing up Britney Spears. We celebrated three months together today (August 27th). I see a relationship that is beautiful and well worth it.. in a long time..

Well I must be going to bed.. it is really late here.. i'm probably rambling..

one week.

but then again, I don't think it counts as a proper relationship.

One of those childish, I like you and you like me back! BOYFRIEND GIRLFRIEND thing.

I mean, we never went out and we didn't really talk to each other.

Hahah.

So, I guess I've never been in a relationship.

I haven't yet been in a relationship, so I can't say I have a shortest.

I have, however, had one rejection (extremely embarassing), and one person ask me out for their friend. (I don't like that, because you can't be sure if it's genuine).

Of course, nothing since.
