Global Dimming - far worse than anticipated!

This night, by chance, I watched an interesting BBC report about the recent unbalanced distribution of water in direct coherence with changes in the amount of sunrays that reach our planet's surface.

For all you non-believers of global warming out there (yeah, quit smiling and get a load of this!) - this is not only directly linked to human influence on our atmosphere, it makes the impact global warming even more troublesome!

Don't believe me? Well, you might believe the BBC and the mentioned scientists then:

Looking forward to a lively on-topic discussion (which also includes the forsooth existing global warming!) and your thoughts are more than welcome.

Forsooth existing global warming in direct coherence with human activity, eh?

Yup. (Isn't that a great word?)

Aye, it was all the rage in the Dark Ages.

"That means a temperature rise of 10 degrees Celsius by 2100 could be on the cards, giving the UK a climate like that of North Africa, and rendering many parts of the world uninhabitable."

Ya think so, do ya?

Well, I certainly can't say for sure - but the more the real scientist buffs discover, the more it becomes (or at least should become) clear that messing with the climate cannot be a good idea.
We'll see how the world looks like in 30 years from now - maybe then my answer to "Ya think so, do ya?" can be "No, I don't think so - I know!".

The effect was first spotted by Gerry Stanhill, an English scientist working in Israel.

It's like we have been riding "a four-wheel transmission car on ice": the climate. It won't slip easily, but it when it does, the driver becomes a passanger...
