Hate is everywhere, however why not centralize it? I know exactly how to do this, Gizmo.
Gizmo is a creature of sorts. He is not a mammal a fish or anything like that. His phsyical appearence is difficult to describe. I designed him only to be hated. He doesn't mind, he hates you and everyone else in the world. Blame all of your problems on Gizmo. There is no need to blame a particular race, color, or creed; blame it on Gizmo.

Personally, I found the Bene Tleilax to be more interesting, followed by the Ixians.Hm... I missed the part with the oppressor (but that's because I only read Dune)

The Emperor steals their program from them and creates his own organization to keep an eye on them and his subjects. And things just go downhill after the Honored Matres invade...

Personally, I think the later books were better than Dune; they expand the universe and make it much more disturbing, and at the same time more feeling. Herbert touches dozens of themes in these books.

In the past, I used to recite this occasionally during particularly drug-addled evenings, with the word "beer" in the place of "fear".
