PICTURE this: French hunters stealing out at night in pairs, one with a torch to light up the eyes of their prey, the other armed with a .22 calibre rifle equipped with a telescopic sight and a silencer.

Their quarry? Invaders from the United States...

Well it's about time. Wish they could do the same with the squirrels around here.

Reminds me a bit of that episode of Insomniac where Dave Attell is in New Orleans, and one of the bits he does involves riding along with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office while the shine and shoot nutria along the levee.

Indeed. The grey American squirrels just look ugly, like tree rats. Red squirrels are far better, but get starved out because of the greedy greys!

Huh? WTF? Here in Canada and most of the northern staes, the red squirrels are the indigenous species and have been almost wiped out by the European Black and Grey Squirrels.

The native Red Squirrels also happen to be incredibly mean viscious.

a .22 thats a piss poor round to get a person thats more varmit and target rounds it may have good balitstics but theres no stopping power. Obiviously you dont know to much about rifles (if your from Europe I can understand because I'am pretty sure most nations over there have outlawed rifles and pistols)but France wouldnt last long enough to have anybody called invaders theyd be called occupation forces before nightfall. You should probably said a .338 lapou like the british sinpers use or a 30-06 like the Americans

P.S. I have a French Military rifle for sell never fired only dropped once.

Why on earth would you need a bigger round than a .22 against a frog? What next? Frog hunting with MG3s and MBTs? =p

There is a tremendous squirrel problem here. The exterminators have all the work they need from just those annoying rodents.
They chewed through the garbage can and visit it daily, amking a huge mess . I just walk up quietly, tap the side of the can and when they pop their head out of the whole they chewed, I use a length of 2X4 on them.
As long as they stay in the trees, they are fine, but when they start scampering on the roof, the deck, etc.., you have to deal with them. They are always searching for a way into the attic and will chew through just about anything, once they start.
