I just picked up the movie, "Real Genius" on DVD. It's one of those rare and elusive 'good Val Kilmer movies'. Hehehe.
It's possibly one of my favorite movies ever. A unique blend of wit and mischief. Excellent comedic timing. A house destroyed by snackfood. What more could you want? :D

You trying to overpower my toilet or something? Make it explode upon my next visit?

I'd like to suggest that "Top Secret" be included in the subset of Val Kilmer films that are considered "good".
'Course, not good in the sense of acting, writing, cinematography, direction, editing, or general conception, but rather "good" in the ratio of entertainment value to production value.

"Tombstone".
Kilmers performance as Doc Holiday is the best ever.
And if anyone says Randy Quaid's portrayal is better..Im gonna bribe Colodia to come ofter you with more of that toilet water.

Thanks for the tip, I will rent that one soon. My own tip by way of return favour: The Skeleton Key...meh, not so much. The caveat: I thought Blair Witch Project was one of the scariest films I've ever seen. If you are one of those who were bored by it, ignore my film advice.
Edit - do you think Blair Witch Project is like a bellwether indicator for whether or not a person's movie opinions will match your own?

Oh..and "The Salton Sea" starred Kilmer, and that was very good as well.

I can't think of anything. So here is a link to a video of a rather unusual piano recitation: http://www.gagreport.com/bizarrenews%20-%20video%20-%20piano%20brothers.htm

Of course, the subject was not handled was well in "Top Secret" as it was in Martin Scorsese's 1980 masterpiece "Raping Bull". That film made De Niro's career.
