Saddam Hussein vowed to sacrifice himself for "the Arab cause". Now, this letter was released by a Jordanian "friend" it was addressed to. Whether he released it out of giddyness or if Hussein ordered it is a mystery, but it is following a pattern of events. He fired a large defence team of several lawyers and thousands of volunteers. Yes, volunteers. He's now using an Iraqi lawyer only. You know what this is leading up to. He's gonna make a fiery defense oration against Israel, the Americans, and that one day, (God willing, of course) a grand Muslim Caliphate will take over the world and convert all to Islam. Forget the fact that he was never really religious, either. Hussein just evokes religion during tough times.
