I have noticed that everybody on this board takes themselves way too seriously. For instance, If I were to make an abortion thread speaking my views... I would be hailed as a sexist neanderthal, merely because I have a differing opinion than the average NSer.

It seems that about 70% of this forum wouldn't shed a tear over the death of say... George W Bush. Which worries me... You may not like him, but he is a person.

And lastly, if anybody makes a post in jest, you have a legion of MoDmOnKiEs reporting it as spam in the moderation forum. Therefore I have no choice but to label this forum, and it's residents. n00bs.

There are a lot of stuck up prudes here who insist on political correctness. After a while, you'll just learn to poke fun or ignore them. Sometimes I'll get myself into a debate with one, just to see how far I can take it before they lose their temper. ;)

Meh, you're welcome to your opinions. People may like you more or less for them, but that's their choice. I love NS, I take some of it seriously, but I'm also one of the ones who'll try to spice it up with some comedy, as well as intelligent posts.

As to Bush..I fail to see why I should care about any random person I've never met, much less one I can't stand. However, I'm not necessarily representative of NS, or it's liberal side. Some might care, some might not, just as some cared when the Pope died, and some didn't..It goes the same for any political figure in the world.

I didn't really care when the Pope died, since I've never met him, and I'm not religious. People die every second. To place more value on one life than another, that person must be at least somewhat important to you, in some way. As for Bush, just think of life under Cheney. Then when Cheney dies of heart failure in office, you get Condo. Dear lord. Think of all the nutjobs who would scramble for power. Things could get worse, much worse.

Actually those of us with more than a passing interest in biology or paleontology would demand some kind of genetic evidence, or at least an examination of your bone structure before labelling you as a neanderthal. You also assume that we share the widespread homo sapiens sapiens bias against neanderthals.
