Queen Elizabeth II announced that she was a lesbian?
HAHAHAH Britain's royalty is already screwed no one would be surprised
Well, I'm from the US so it wouldn't quite have the same affect. I'd say "that's interesting" and give it little second thought.
Know what I'd really like to see? I forget who's the next in line for the throne, but perhaps the new King could announce he was gay, get a divorce from his wife, and declare gay marriages legal by having one himself.
:D
God save the King and his King!

Given that he can't marry a Catholic, I assume he also couldn't marry a man.

I would sayeth unto her, "GO, be merry, but don't feel the need to announce it to the world, becuase only the truley sad care, and only the truely attention starved announce this type of thing and demand the world tell them it is okay."

Her Majesty a what sir? How dare you! I will admit she looks far too much like George Washington on our paper money but Her Gracious Majesty is above all that. I believe she and the Duke of Rottenborough led a healthy sex life, after all, they managed to produce four fine specimens of British wonderfulness. Charles, our future noble king, admittedly is barking mad but that's a requirement for the monarchy surely? Anne may look like the arse-end of a horse yet she remains strangely attractive to those of us that enjoy the pleasures of the hunt. Andrew is a fine randy English stud who mates with anything that moves. And Edward, well I suppose the less said about him, the better.
Queer? I think not sir!

Queen Elizabeth II announced that she was a lesbian?I would immediatly call into question the fact that she took part in the conception of Prince Charles. :p

Queen Elizabeth II announced that she was a lesbian?
Charles could do to her what Edward III did to Edward II. Except Charles is no Edward III. Maybe Andrew could do her in, then.

I'm pretty sure he could make his own rules since he would be the head of his church. (wouldn't he?)

As Britain is a constitutional monarchy, it relys on Parliament to pass laws on their behalf. The King or Queen cannot set law by precedent. Look what happen to the last couple of kings who tried this. James II and Charles I.
Queen Elizabeth II announced that she was a lesbian?
I wouldn't be surprised. The Royal Family is majorly screwed up, though I have nothing against lesbians in particular.

I'm guessing we'd do what all true Britons do whenever anything strange or embarrassing happens, we'd pretend we hadn't noticed. :)
Did anyone watch 'Monkey Magic' where they took a magician and his pretty assistant into a public toilet and then sawed her in half? It was hilarious! :p

Not that it actually has a constitution, but I digress.
Queen Elizabeth II announced that she was a lesbian?
hahaha :) Even though I am not British that makes me laugh a lot!
The Queen would never announce that she was a lesbian..a photographer from the Sunday World would snap a shot of her in some holiday castle sucking the toe of her lesbian partner!

If Liz were Lez ...
I'd hope like hell it would throw England's bowlers off their game.
I'd expect to see Dame Edna raised to the peerage.
Australia could offer her political asylum, provided that she agreed to open the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras each year.
But, seriously, would anybody notice?
Unfortunately ...
It would add further "proof" to that weird theory that floats around the more outre sites, the one that deduces that Prince Charles is actually the AntiChrist because he was born in 1948, he is a Mason of high degree and he is a descendant of the House of David. (I mean, how obvious can you get?)
Really, you guys, you should have stuck to the Stewarts.

Either one: burn her at the stake
Or two: blame it on incest over the past 1000 years, then burn her at the stake
