Well, firstly, I don't live in the US, so...

Aside from UK and US, though, it would probably be something along the lines of Scottish or Irish folk music, Polish jazz, and most African guitar music.

It's gotta be a tie between US/UK. I mean, The Beatle, Queen, The Who, The Stone...then in the US we got Hendrix, Grace Slick, Aerosmith...

So yeah.

Didn't she write "La vie en rose"? If so, great song.

I do enjoy French music, but I love Indian music a lot too, especially their musicals.

I actually adore Russian music, especially the Russian red army choir. I especially like continental Classical music, e.g Mozart and Beethoven as well. For contemporary I like good old homegrown British stuff. Hate Urban and Country, it should be ended.

afro-cuban drumming

i had the chance to visit a hole-in-the-wall club in miami a couple years ago when some of the masters of the art were playing

the rhythms are so complex that i couldnt follow them all i could do was immerse myself in the all consuming sounds. it was an amazing evening.

Spanish dance music. It has a lot of positive associations for me, now. I'm happy when I listen to it, simple as that.

Most traditional Mexican music is a varient of the Polka, which is popular all over central and eastern Europe: Germans, Czechs, Poles, Rus, Slovaks, et all all have their own versions. Mexican music is heavily influenced by the Spanish, whom in turn were heavily influenced by the Austrians.

Generally, Scandinavian metal and Irish/Scottish folk. However, I really don't care where music is from, as long as I enjoy it.
