JetBlu. We're lucky to have them at my local airport. Even though we live in what may be considered a decent size city elsewhere, we share the state with New York. But I just love them to pieces. And they never seem to loose money.

Does this mean certain airlines are more likely to crash than others?

Austrian Airlines: We'll send your bags into all directions. :D :p :D
(I think I saw a statistic saying that 1 in 3 bags are lost...)
Austrian Airlines. Of all the different companies I've flown with, they've been the ones that offered the best service and made me more confident about flying, despite my aversion to it. I hate flying. Sadly, there's no way to avoid it...
Also, Austrian Airlines has very cute stewards. KLM does too.

None. I've never been on a plane.
*shudders* certainly not any american airline. Possibly JetBlue, but I haven't flown them yet.
None. I've never been on a plane.
It's fun. I like it.
Especially when your flying overseas and you can see the darkness in your window, but you look to your right/left and you can see the daylight coming your way. Or away from you. Bah either way. I can't forget that image in my head and I was only 5.
I’ve only ever flown Southwest and American.
Southwest bumped me up to first class, and American gave me a bag of peanuts.
Southwest it is.

I'm acrophobic too, but flying doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's mainly not being enclosed in a flying tube and looking down that gets to me. Such as leaning over a very elevated balcony

So, you managed to miss the second most profitable airline in the world?
(that's not a joke. Despite being only 13th in passenger numbers, Qantas is indeed the second most profitable airline. Basically because they're not afraid to hike prices as oil gets more expensive).
SYDNEY, 18 August 2005
Qantas Reports Profit Before Tax of $1,027.2 Million
Qantas today announced a profit before tax of $1,027.2 million for the year ended 30 June 2005, a 6.5 per cent increase on the previous year. The net profit after tax was $763.6 million, up 17.8 per cent.
That was on their official website. Mind, those numbers are in AUD.

Cutest stewardesses: Icelandic Air. Also has the benefit of using Iceland as an aircraft carrier, so you're in a 757 from NYC to Europe and get to stretch your legs around the terminal. Duty free shop? WOOT!!
Worst baggage care: Delta. My friend owns a luggage shop. HALF of all his repairs come from Delta alone.
Least leg room: Delta. I'm baffled why anyone flies this airline.
Airline of choice: Czechoslovak Airlines. Never hijacked, no accidents ever except on in Tripoli in the 60s, where there was no air traffic control.
* Oldest carrier in the world after KLM, started in the 1920s.
* CSA provides flights to 63 destinations in 39 countries. There are 144 daily departures from Prague (and let's face it... where else do you need to be?!? :) ).
* CSA serves 2.8 million annually with 31 planes with average fleet age 6.12 and passenger load factor 70.4%.

1) Lufthansa - I usually fly with them.
2) Pretty much any Star Alliance member, especially Singapore Airlines.
3) Qantas. Though I never flew with them they have indeed the best safety record.

Theres a Russian plane that is the unsafest plane it was called Euouw or something like that `Crashed the two planes it had left 16 years ago.
Well, I always use Delta, but I don't trust them. It's dangerous to put your trust into any business, let alone a giant corporation. They'll feed you lies and take advantage however they can, in the name of profit.

I'm a little paranoid as far as planes are concerned...I always get the feeling that maybe something will happen to the plane and my imagination goes on a rampage, supplying me with all the possible ways that plane could crash and what not...Thus, I really don't trust any airlines...
Gotta love Air Tran. Sort of a small network, but their planes have always been clean and comfortable (even in coach); their people are friendly (when I travelled in uniform the flight attendants would always upgrade me to business class if there was room), and they have a cheap business class upgrade option ($35 per flight, pending availibility). Never had a non-weather-related delay with them.
