For some of you, time is quickly running out on your summer holidays...for others like myself, holidays are a myth, and the summer is looking that way too...but in any case, what are YOU doing this weekend?

A little fishing, a little drinking, alot of taking it easy. My weekend doesn't start till Sunday though.

I'm going too sleep.... College is hard work....... zzzzzz

Hm.. I'm not sure. I might go to the movies or post on NationStates all day before I embark on a quest to return to real life :D

Probably doing the three bits of coursework I've left until the last minute.

I'm going to be the entertainment at a party on Saturday. I'm going to a party of my own on Sunday. Most of the intervening time will be spent with my son. I've been taking it easy lately as I cracked two ribs a couple weeks ago. *nod*

I'm hosting a Merdeka party w/ my Malaysian girlfriend. (well, Merdeka/Potluck/Housewarming, we just moved into a new apt). And then we're gonna play some poker :P drink good beer, and generally have a blast.

i'm a little worried about my grade in my CCNA 2 class i just finished, may barely tweak out an A.

Working. Holidays are for pussies.

Heading down to Manhatten to spend some time with my uncle, then go back to Jersey and piss my cousins off.

On saturday, I'm most likely going to hang out with my boyfriend and we are going to watch a DVD together (and have some romantic time together)...

I'll also meet my friend (from my uni) who is driving from San Francisco after a long stay with his family for the summer.

I'm going to Cape May New Jersey for 2 days going to the beach!


Thats not far from me. Cape May is beautiful. Look for dolphins in the late afternoon right out past the breakers.

My wife and I get a room at Congress Hall there in the fall. Great hotel.

My boys and I will spend the morning crabbing, then head to meet my girls at the beach for a late afternoon dinner. Fly kites and watch the moon come up again, like we did last night.

Sunday morning will be 18 holes of golf with buddies, then the afternoon will have a bunch of friends coming over for beers/pool and my now famous teryaki wings on the grill.

It should be a good weekend...

Saturday night I do a live set/ DJ mix (2 tech 12s, 2 CD players, laptop, synth, midi controlloer and microphoner..with vocoder of course) Crazy fucked up little party about 10 minutes walk from my house. I've been asked to make the first portion of my set a short history of techno & electro (starting round 72 with some kraftwerk and continuing to 94 or therabouts) after that I'm gonna drop some new shit and split some ear drums, wipe the dance floor with my audiences sweating bodies, etc.

Other than that my weekend will invovle housecleaning and trying out some idea for a new painting...yawnsville, but pleasant. I may torture the crackheads next door by calling the cops on them. They haven't been busted in awhile and one of scratched my car, so its payback time

Sleep, and sit on my ass in front of the computer. :)

I quit my job and this is my last day at work, so I will be going home to vanish into the world of video games and sleep with sporatic house cleaning until I find a job that will give me benefits. Of course this means that I will have no internet until further notice... I bet you will all miss me. :rolleyes:

As it's been pouring with rain here the last 4 days and doesn't show any signs of letting up, I'm resigned to spending my last holiday weekend indoors. Today, when I finally wake myself up, it'll consist of the ThreeS, followed by coffee, then gym. Later I'm having dinner with a friend and we're going to watch 'Tom yum goong'. Not the soup, the new movie with Tony Jaa which by all accounts is a kick-ass movie. Broke Thai box office records when it opened there a couple of weeks ago.

2morrow, prob something similar, but this time it'll be 'Land of the Dead'. Nothing like a good zombie movie to get me into the mood for work.

this afternoon (which I have realized is technically the weekend) I am going to the local pistol range to ventilate some paper targets. :sniper:

probably go see that steve carell movie with my mother-in-law, because he's awesomely funny and it's fun to see my mother-in-law get embarassed by sex jokes...see some friends and look over the film we did last week and/or sit around and watch them do crystal meth and worry about getting arrested...screw like a monkey and last, but not least, play the fuck out of knights of the old republic II. whooo....no life.

Then I'm going to town buying a bday present-any suggestions for a 22 year old guy. I only have E15. Its looking like a voucher for HMV or Virgin. Going to Pub tonight and sleeping tomorrow!

Being Depressed, consistently. My girlfriend dumped me on thursday night. I'm going to town to see my other friends in about two hours. I'll come back at, say, 6, then watch my "Spaced" DVDs to keep my mind off it. On Sunday I reckon my tactics will be to gets some work done to distract me, or I'll read or something.

I have no idea. All I know is that I go back to college at 0700 CDT Monday.

Having just got back from holiday last week I'm too skint to do anything this weekend (get paid next week). So I'm going to head up-town and go to the blood transfusion unit this morning and if the weather's nice I'll walk back home (10 miles). Tomorrow I'm going for a run (rain or shine).

I'd recommend going along to watch "Tom yum goong", as it doesn't look like rain is going away any time soon. It'll take you away from the incessant downpour for 2 hours and it's a pretty good action movie. A bit long and boring in parts and a fairly convoluted plot that doesn't make any sense but awesome fight scenes.

I'm doing my last bit of class prep--I start teaching again on Monday. I haven't been in front of a classroom in two years, and I'm excited do be doing it again.
