Should Gladiator Arenas be constructed as an optional contest for men on death row for some prize? (not freedom)

Nope. I mean, even if I would condone doing something like that to other human beings, whom should we allow to watch that?

Why limit it to people on death row? Why shouldn't anyone be allowed to take part if they so wish?

If they are on death row, might as well as LONG as we make sure they are killed for their crime eventually instead of becoming celebrities who are let off because they've got skills.

Well they could put it on Pay-Per-View. And think they could have like Western day and have old style shootouts w/ revolvers. Or just go old school style w/ swords and stuff. We wouldn't use animals, cause thats just wrong. :p lol.

Reality TV is pretty well on its way there, already. It doesn't have to be prisoners; people have already shown themselves to be dumb enough to do these types of things willingly.

We already have this...its called professional wrestling.

Except wrestlin is fake. Im talkin fight to the death, may the best man win. But they could borrow some concepts from wrestling. like a royal rumble or something, just a big free-for-all. Or maybe a mini-war. Even better, we could recreate some of the greatest wars in history, depending on how many ppl sign up. Hell we should allow free ppl to do it if they wanted.

The outcomes are scripted..and the the moves loosely choreographed....but the violence..is very real.

But nobody dies on purpose, and your a man that wants some bloodshed.

I can't believe I forgot about advertisements. I'm sure budwieser would be down. And instead of a logo on their uniform, these guys could just get it tattooed on them. In Las Vegas they could make a replica of the Coliseum.

Well it is voluntary. And now for people on death row, or for free people.

To be honest, if you think there are enough people out there who really want to fight to the death with other people, why not gather them all together, stick them in a cellar. 'Last one left just hammer on the door when you're done'.

Well if the grand prize were like $1,000,000 or something i think ppl would do it. Or maybe something like poker, the last 10 guys get some sort of cut, and if you don't make it, it will go to your family.
