Cheats/tips for Runescape.
1.A way to increase your Attack/Defence/Strength quickly is to fight the cows in the cow feild.
2.If you fight cows or chickens long enough a person will appear out of thin air and say "Greetings (your name) here it's all yours". He will give you a box and if you click on it it will ask you a question (which is normaly very easy). If you answer correctly you get an uncut jewel. E.G. Uncut emarald.
NOTE: Both of these tips take time so don't give up after five minutes. :D

He appears randomly. Cows have nothing to do with it. He can appear when you're mining, for example.
Some tips from my experience:
1)Don't bother with complicated cooking (pizza, bread, pies and stuff). Fishing is the easiest and the best way of getting food, concentrate on it.
2)If you're into mining steel or mithril, choose the worlds with the least people playing in them at the moment. Coal is wanted by way too many people, and choosing less populated worlds can reduce competition.
3)If you're not a member, make friends with players who are members. They can do things you cannot- fletching arrows, for example, and making better amulets.
4)Don't bug people for "free stuff", but don't be afraid to ask for help when you really need some. There's plenty of scammers in Runescape but most people are willing to help a newbie out. Make friends with them. Higher level players are more likely to give you a helping hand than newbies- they can afford it, after all.
5)The dragon fire shield may not give much protection against things other than dragon fire, but it does not reduce your magic or archery skills. Every other shield will. Which makes the dragon fire shield the only viable choice for a crossbow shooter or a mage.
6)Good arrows cost much less in general stores than they do in specialized archery shops.
7)When selling things to shops, watch the quantity. The more identical items the shop possesses, the lower the price. Ideally, you should sell one item, wait for it to disappear from the shop window and only then sell another. If you lack the patience, try selling items in groups no larger than five per time.
8)Your displayed combat level strikes a balance between your skills in melee attack, defense, archery and magic. If you develop all skills in a balanced way, you will appear a higher level than your actual combat performance would afford you. If you put all your efforts into boosting up only ONE skill, you will appear low level while being able to deliver a harder punch than your enemy could have expected. Both can be useful in the wilderness, depending on your gameplay style. If you're a peaceful explorer of noble character, who would rather fight monsters than other people, appearing higher level will deter the occasional swashbuckler. If you're a cold-blooded treacherous assassin, you could benefit from appearing lower level while actually being strong- other fighers will not flee from you, hoping to win the battle against a "weakling", and you will get their stuff once they're dead.
9)Learn enough craftsmanship to be able to cut sapphires and emeralds. By selling them uncut, you're missing out on an awful lot of money.
10)For mining, get a rune pickaxe as soon as you can afford it.

the only tip/cheat to this game is to have an endless supply of time on your hands to become powerful and skillful. If you don't have that, then I suggest not to play.

Somtimes if your mining it is possible to find uncut jewels in the rocks. E.G. uncut sapphire/ruby/emarald/diamond.

I've never played Runescape before, but they totally ripped off the "cow-fighting" idea from Diablo, from the sound of it. Meh. :p

If you're a member and wanna train up your hp, fight the rock crabs north of Rellekka. They hit for 1 at most, and they've got 50hp.
Btw, does an elemental shield not add to your magic stats? I lost mine and cba making another so I'm not sure.

Too bad Runescape is boring as hell.
