He is an odd man, willing to compromise the values he claims to hold dear to further other held values. I have no doubt that he feels he is only trying to help children, albeit self-righteously.

A few months back, I sent Jack an email, which follows:

Jack, I've recently become aware of who you are and what you're doing, due to a recent report on the news of your cases. And what I question, is why do you post all of your contact information, and then never answer any question posed by us gamers on the topic that you know so much about.

Why do you not see that video games are not the cause of violence, and
never have been, and that the people who commited the act of violence should take responsibility for themselves, instead of attempting to injure a
something protected by the first ammendment.

That's right, video games in America are protected by the First Ammendment
of the Bill of Rights. Freedom of Speech. I know that you claim to be a
lawyer, but your blatant disrespect for knowledgable people and you lack of
any real facts makes me wonder if you are a very good one. Have you won a
case in the last 10 years? Did you actually go to college to be a lawyer, or
are you just a low quality scam artist who uses video game violence to fill
your wallet, and leave problems in your wake that are far worse than the
ones that were there before you?

Now I know what kind of comments you will make about this, responding
about brain damage and the likes, and I would like to inform you that those
comments are, simply put, pure shit. My brain is in no way damaged, it is in
fact your brain that has suffered the damage. Exploiting people for your own
goals, even when people have died. That's just sick.

As you can probably quess with the response that I got, I am not this guy's biggest fan. I wish that he would die, but if a gamer killed him, he would become a martyr. I'm just hoping for a meteor, lightning or miami's crazy ass drivers to take him out.

Well, my only comment is that I'm rather sad that I'm not surprised that his efforts are succeeding.
I have no clue what the man thinks he is doing, but apparently it is working, and the government is going along with it. A shame, too.
