Under Thread Tools, one of the options at the top of each page. You can't make a poll before you start the thread, actually ;)

Edit: I just realised you must have misinterpreted my "Why not?" It was more of a jovial and rhetorical question :D

The bottom light on the stoplight is blue to me, which is the best example I can give of my colorblindness.

Some notes on those of you who encounter colorblindness:

- If you are going to treat us like circus freaks, at least be kind enough to give us two bits or some peanuts or something.

- We're the colorblind ones. We should be asking you what color things are, not the other way around. Do you do that to other handicapped people? Do you ask blind people how many fingers you're holding up? Deaf people 'Can you hear me?' Challenge people in wheelchairs to a race? C'mon now.

- If we say we 'can't see a color' we are not being literal. It just means that it looks different to us, not that we can see through anything that is that color. That's x-ray vision and I wouldn't tell you if I had it. ;)

- I know that it's a trippy thing to think, "How do we know that what I see as green is the same thing you see as green." But like hundreds of people have had that revelation in front of us so forgive us if our minds aren't blown.

- And yes, we learn the same base colors as you, it's when you get into different shades where we start to get slippery.

- Teachers, do you think the 7th grade is a good place to have a child demonstrate his difficulty in front of a class by pointing out that he can't organize something by shades? Do you? Really?

- No, I can't see what's in that group of dots. Quit asking.

- Yes, being colorblind effects me. I keep having to answer that question. That and not being able to match my clothes after I outgrew Grranimals, thats about it.

I got the same bloody annoying questions:

*someone holds up bright red book*
What colour is this?
*smacks forehead*

Not to mention I found out I was colourblind in an impromptu science experiment. it was correct, because certain things I patently get confused with, bright green, for example, being yellow to me. I was the only colour blind person in the class. har!

I used to be, but I lost most of it. I have trouble seeing those numbers in the colored dots sometimes, not always.

Mine is somewhat similar to yours. I have a lot of trouble with Red/Brown/Black and Purple. The only time it has ever caused me grief was once with a girlfriend who informed me I was color blind. I naturally informed her she was a nut. The next time was when testing for the military. Fortunatley for me the guy had a sense of humor after my first few misses he started tracing the number outlined in the multi colored pattern for me with his finger. In a way, it turned out an advantage for me militarily. I was very good at identifying objects while wearing night vision devices. Well, maybe not so much of an advantage because it did get me on point an awful lot!

It's not really as bad as it sounds. Almost all men with some color blindness can actually see all the colors, except when they are shoved together it is very hard or impossible to tell the difference between the two (or three). I see only certain shades of brown as gray, but someone who sees only in shades of gray are more rare than winning lottery tickets.

Well I wear black suits with colored dress shirts and colored silk ties far too often. They need to match, but they can't be the same color, or some terribly off shade, it would totally throw me off :p/
