In my opinion it's Bigger Than Cheeses (http://www.biggercheese.com). If you check it out, be sure to go to the archive or the storylines will trip you out that much your brain will burrow out your ears and take up residence in your shoes...

I've never really liked Bigger Than Cheeses. My favorite webcomic is Sluggy Freelance (http://www.sluggy.com).

What in God's name? That is perhaps the nineth worst comic I've looked at today. Sorry, but that was terrible.

www.clanofthecats.com

Slow starter but the vampires are cool.

www.machall.com is pretty good too, no story just geek jokes like 'dorm hulk'.

Huh. I would've thought you'd like the comic that Bigger Than Cheeses' author ripped off. (He admits as much on his site.)

Edit: How did you manage to figure out whether or not you liked a comic after 4 minutes? Especially one that's been running for almost 8 years, and is currently in the middle of a storyline that references back to three others?

Possibly the funniest comic out there, 15 rating though.

Same for www.exploitationnow.com too, also damn funny.

You'd think. But there is one crucial problem, your comic just isn't funny... not in the slightest...

Penny Arcade (www.penny-arcade.com) is easily one of the best webcomics that doesn't have storylines, or even much in the way of continuity.

I always found it a little under par. But then I like www.golden-throne.com so what does it say for me?

www.errantstory.com by the same guy as Exploitation Now but more story based. Very good IMO.

www.megatokyo.com is a pretty good one too. Not sure how much I like the storyline but the quality is very high.

Megatokyo at WWW.megatokyo.com is definitely my favorite. :)

Kevin and Kell at www.kevinandkell.com is a good one for anyone who likes "furries". ^_~

Namir Dieter at www.namirdieter.com and Unlike Minerva at www.unlikeminerva.com are also good.

I'd also recommend "Dominic Deegan:Oracle for Hire" and "21st Century Fox".

Scary-go-round (www.scarygoround.com) is a decent comic, with a somewhat unique style of art.

Edit: Bunny (http://www.frozenreality.co.uk/comic/bunny/) is a completely bizarre comic. I find it rather amusing, for some reason.

Sluggy Freelance (http://www.sluggy.com) is my favorite (so, nyeh Rotovia), it may take a while to work your way through the whole thing (which is neccessary, considering the frequent refrences to the past), but it is pretty good.
I also read Krakow (http://www.krakowstudios.com/) (and Marilith (http://www.marilith.com/), periodically) and the Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/). This may well make me a pathetic and sad individual, but that can describe a majority of the people in the world, so I don't have too many worries.

Oh, and I find Better Than Cheeses to be pointless and annoying.

Most of my favorites (VG Cats, 8-bit Theatre, Megatokyo, and Kevin and Kell) have already been listed, so I'll just add Suburban Jungle (http://www.suburbanjungle.com/), Bruno the Bandit (http://www.brunothebandit.com/), Alien Loves Predator (http://alienlovespredator.com/index.php), and my all time, and unfortunately discontinued, favorite: Dragon Tails (http://www.dragon-tails.com/).
