If humanity is utterly annihilated by some unforseen cataclysm that doesn't kill all of the other life on the planet, then its possible. Otherwise, humans will eventually drive them to extinction.

Finitra is right, Humans are part of the Primate order. Along with chimps, orangutans, gorillas, and a bunch of other monkeys. We're just not hairy like them.
