Anyone else fretting about results tomorrow?

So, tomorrow's the big day: AS and A2 results come in. Is anyone else, like me, quivering with fearful anticipation or are most people laid back? Tell us your feelings. Here are mine (on AS):

I've been expecting all As since a few months back, but going over the exams in my head, I've realised I've made some huge mistakes. Some of my english essays were crap (though a good coursework mark should boost the overall grade up) and I don't know how the examiner's responded. My Tudor history essay missed out a fairly important point, no doubt losing me several, several marks. Economics... I felt went ok but I always tend to lose marks here and there, hm. French should be good.

Phew, that's me done. Go, guys. And remember, no matter what happens, you can always become a gypsy.

Good luck. There was a thread about this by Tribes of Longton earlier, but people seemed to lose interest in it.

I fucked up one of my history papers and misread "William II" as "William I". I also couldn't be arsed to revise most subjects. Bollocks.

Do not fret, for in fretting, we are allowing ourselves to be psychologically governed by statistics! ><;

Actually, I'm scared to death. I just hope I can get to sleep. ;_;

Yeah, i'm pretty worried about it. As long as I get at least a B in history I should be fine - which was pretty easy for me since i've done well in AS and only need 120 out of 210 to get one. However, I really think I mucked up on my history paper so i'm not sure.

The other three don't matter - it's basically impossible for me to get anything less than a B in Philosophy and Sociology, maybe get an A in either or both, and General studies I just took to see if I can get a free A level with no work - so even if I fail I loose nothing ^^

Don't worry about it, there's nothing you can do to change them so there's no need to worry...and even if they aren't quite what you hoped, it isn't the end of the world. There are plenty of options for you.

I never really understood why people worried about exam results, I always just went to bed, and got woken up by my mum going "quick, quick, quick, here comes the postman!", at which point I would tell her to go away, I would go back to sleep, and I would wake up at my normal time and then dander down to open the letter, read what it says, and then head back to watch TV or something, regardless of what the results were.

Dudes, dudes, dudes, chill,

What can I say, I dont believe that what I can remember of the menstrual cycle or my opinions on the poetry of William Blake at 2:30pm on a sticky June afternoon should have as much bearing on my future as people make out.

I know that people will fret about results but all I can say is chill, nations will fall, stars will collide, mountains will crumble and what have-you, so how intelligent a bored teacher who you've never met and will be judging thousands of other students, thinks you are is of little significance in the scheme of things.

All we are is dust in the wind.

Namaste :)
