I am fed up with ladies and their SUVs. They think they're god in those things and can force anyone to go faster if they ride their arses. This happened to me on the way to the grocery store today. I think there should be a law against allowing women to drive motor vehicles; and that has nothing to do with their gender but with their judement skills. :mad:

This is why I suddenly came to this conclusion.

Okay, so I'm going along on my merry way doing 65 down a back road(whose speedlimit was 55) being followed by a 40ish looking lady. I'm just ignoring her dirty looks at me when we start getting close to a town. The town in question just so happens to be the headquarters for the town, county and the state police. So being the brilliant guy I am, I slowed down to 55 while the beotch behind me starts riding my arse. I put up with it and ignore her. Finally, about a mile from the town(we are now beginning to near the residential part of the town) she guns it and streaks by me giving me the finger. I just waved at her :p . Then about a mile down the road she is caught behind some old guy doing the speed limit and I catch up to her and start tailgating her. :D

So you have one bad experience with someone who happens to be female and you propose to discriminate based on that?

She could have been an ass … the fact that she was a woman may not have had anything to do with it

Shouldnt this just be about bad drivers or road rage rather than women drivers in particular

The proof that male drivers are worse is shown in the difference in insurance costs between men and women

I think I am a good driver but I am not a very good judge when it comes to judging myself. my husband on the other hand would agree with you that women shouldn't drive and more specifically that I shouldn't drive.

Ohmy. One woman tailgates you and suddenly all women.. no, wait, all women with SUVs in particular, are bad drivers.

No... the moral of the story is: anyone driving a SUV tends to be less concern with those in smaller vehicles than not. :p

Heh, my boyfriend has willingly admitted many times that I'm better driver than he is. That's only because I drive so much more than he does.

men tend to drive worse (more agressively) than women in my experience... however women still can't park :P

I don't mean to generalize but, it does seem that women drivers terrify me.

Girls: 17 accidents
Boys: 2 accidents

Those are the ones I know of. One girl has crashed her car three times in one year and gotten three tickets in a month.

My girlfriend's friend was driving us to the movie theater in the wrong lane until she saw a car coming straight at her upon which she simply giggled and said "hehe oops". My girlfriend admits to being a horrible driver.

I have no rock solid surveys or statistics, but dammit I have life experience.

EDIT: People who drive mini-vans collectivly suffer from narcolepsy, teretz syndrome, and elephantitus of the foot. Jesus, I think I mispelled every word in that sentence. Me -> Pwned

And over here the worst ones are wealthy men in their fifties driving new MBs and BMWs

My mate is a far worse driver than any girl that has passed at my school. The worst thing is he thinks he's a driving god. But he does give you whiplash every time he changes gear, and cannot handle a car at all safely over 50mph.

Example...

Monday night, about 4 o clock in the morning we were heading back from a party (I had my dads BMW, he had his brothers Fiat Punto) He was taking some girls back, so didnt want to leave at the same time as me, cos he knew I'd be able to show him up, what with the 2 litre Turbo I had and everything, so he set off about 3-4 minutes after me. Me and my best mate though, decided to pull over and wait for him...5 minutes later comes along my mate, sees its me and floors it. We start following him down the duel carriage way back home, so he decides to indicate randomly n drive all over the road before setteling in the middle of the road. So as any slightly annoyed person would, I got right behind him and he moved into the outside lane, so I undertook him, then left him behind.

About 5 minutes later after I'd dropped my mates off, I puleld out of a street n he was going down the road right behind me and tried to overtake me on speed bumps (retard) then we got into a residential area, and he followed me right behind me (literally a couple of feet away)

Bit of a pointless rant, point is sex isnt always a deciding factor.

But you have to ask How long have they had their license and Are they idiot anyway before saying it's just because their girls :p

Even older women panic a LOT at the wheel. Whenever a big truck passes they start freaking out like it's trying to kill them.

I love driving with my dad though, he never gets upset or even panics. He just acts real cool and says: "You bastard"

I really think it depends on experience not years wise, but how much driving and where. I personally have been complimented as a good driver. I also have lots of people say they didn't even notice I was driving a 5-speed cuz I'm that smooth. And yes I am female. lol I do also think people's moods come into play too tho like in the summer I tend to be more laid back and enjoy the road

I've only been driving 4 months, but I've been told I'm a pretty good driver, as good as any really. Which is pretty nice to know

I'm just stating with what I've seen and experienced.

It's like a nice little experiment where there are two cookies: one chocolate and one regular. If the chocolate one keeps shocking you when you pick it up, odds are you're not going to feel too comfortable riding with a choclate cookie behind the wheel...what was I saying? :)

However, when men are bad drivers they usually get people killed. My brother can't maintain speed at all, he slams the gas and completely takes it off every five seconds. He loves to speed, and I mean 100 in a damn 35. Personally I'd rather drive with a monkey, because you have 50/50 chance of the monkey hitting the gas and the brake. My bro is 100% gas.

Trucks are fine. Fool drivers with no sleep are bad. I nearly got accordioned on I-95 in the rain because of a semi driving in the right, doing the limit and driving safely, and a Ryder rent-a-truck in the left lane with a driver who fell asleep and started to drift.

I slowed and started flashing my lights and honking the horn; the semi driver thank God saw what was about to happen and blared the airhorn. It woke up the ass in the Ryder, who decided to pull into the next rest stop.

I'll share the road with a professional truck driver any day.
