heh i started a thread on the old iron maiden forum asking (jokingly)whether it was more "rock" to have long or short hair, and inadvertantly spawned a whole club and political party of the Women For Long Haired Leather-Wearing Men (WFLHLWM) :p

Shave off all your hair, except for a two inch wide circle at the very top of your head. Grow it out very long and braid it. Have two chinese dragons tatooed in a circular pattern around the two inch circle of scalp where you still have hair.

Normally I'd always say short hair for a guy, but I think you pull off the longer hair quite nicely.
Laerod, not sure what your hair looked like to begin with...the only picture I saw of you, you were wearing a hat. :)

My friends were upset when I cut my hair (granted, I had long curly hair -.-;; ) but I didn't have regrets because it was my choice.
The length of your hair should depend on what you feel like.

That's exactly what I thought. I don't think hair really long until it reaches your shoulders. If that's long hair then mine's longer, though I still consider mine medium. Although that's a rule for straighter hair, I guess. I don't know how long extremely curly hair would have to grow to reach your shoulders.
I think the longer hair frames your face better. The shorter hair might look equally good if you get it cut slightly shorter on top then it is in the picture.

Short definitely. The long hair pic is kinda fro-ey and doesn't fit your face. You are quite dashing with the short hair.
Keep in mind, though, this is coming from a straight dude, so place the appropriate value on my opinion.

I have to admit that you are partly right, but I do not have a picture with really long hair. Imagine the pic with longer hair + 3 month growth, that would be what it was like right before the pic with shorter hair.
