Clearly our opinion on what constitutes 'little' is somewhat divergent...I'd have called it a large forum....in your mind, how many posts and pages of threads does a forum need before it qualifies as larger than little? :confused:

What he or she's getting at is that these forums can often be very unforgiving to new members. You can rarely be listened to until you are quite well known, in my experience.
On the "calmly debating" by facists and anarchists, this type of thing always breaks down into mud slinging and name calling, whether it's on this forum, a regional one, a public one or even in the real world.

If you're having trouble making friends in an online forum, start a thread expressing a vague and trolly opinion about it without backing it up with anything specific. It's a great ice-breaker! :cool:

It depends there are some awesome young (posting wise) posters out there and lots of us love them … but the other side argues furiously against them and they forget that not everyone is against their viewpoint
You get respect if you deserve it
Some people just need to warm up to get good … like me … I am still working on it but all in all stick it out
You will find a place in our group here
