Wow, now that I know that Australia's bank guards only have revolvers, or sometimes no weapons at all... I seriously need to move to Australia and rob a bank.

What's your army like?
Small, but well trained, well equiped. (Styer AUGs as standard), SAS train with SAS-UK and are about the same level.
furthermore there are no perminant guards in most of the banks, just when they bring the money around.
My opinion (after living in the US for 3 months) is that we have a more proactive police force, and lower general crime, making it less necessary (sp?) for everyone to be carrying.
