Maybe the government's finally caught onto the diabolical schemings of Stewie Griffin.

Babies Kept Off Planes in 'No-Fly List' Confusion (http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050815234609990001)

On a more serious note, this is just an example of how ridiculous the Patriot Act can get when it's not coming close to threatening civil liberties.

Sounds like just a confusion. I know the current administration sucks, but maybe they'll understand the confusion and will try to work this out.

I mean, they can't be THAT stupid, can they?

Meh, I've always wanted small kids off the planes anyways. But yeah, it's a bit stupid to deny them entry because they're sharing the names of some terrorists somewhere.

I think this has more to do w/ stupidity in general. Can you imagine what is going through that attendants head as he/she is comparing the names to people?

Great, here we go again...

What you are failing (or refusing) to understand is that these babies are clearly criminals of some sort (that or foreign, which is the same thing really). I know this because no law abiding US citizen has ever been negatively effected by the Patriot Act....

Enough of the bleeding heart business, if you cant accept that clearly dangerous babies should be kept off planes, then I have to wonder at your motivations...dont you think that law abiding citizens should be able to travel in peace without worrying that hostile terrorist babies might take over the ariplane with a deviously sharpened dummy? ;)

Come on, everyone knows babies are potential terrorists! They're EVIL, I tell you, EVIL!

Picture, if you will, a baby in his first words... "pa-pa... ma-ma... ji-had... Is-lam..."

See? They're terrorists!

::rolleyes::

I can see their point.
after all, the feds probably have a list of names to track where they go, no age, sex or anything else. thus a false lead would have investigators scrambling around everytime a child flies.

the only way around that is the list includes all personal information. then they can probably distinguish between the terrorist or the child with the same name.

somehow I don't see Americans letting the feds into their personall information.

What are you talking about funny....what's the joke? Babies are dangerous I tell you! Didnt you even look at the artical. The girl in that photo is clearly a menace! ;)

Your's was more concise and would definately have been funny if this was a laughing manner. Personally I see nothing amusing in the fight against terrorist babies...they must be stopped at all costs, (including looking absurdly ridiculous)!

Er except rather shortsightely for some silly reason they are not supposed to apply the no fly list to persons under 12. I frankly think that is silly, everyone knows children under 12 are very dangerous...dont believe me? Clearly you have not seen family guy...would you want Stewie on your plane?

Exactly Juni, finally someone gets it. See why babies are dangerous? Chemical warfare; if push comes to shove, they are not above using gas!

"I mean, they can't be THAT stupid, can they?"
