there already thread on that subject.

anyway I except it will go well, with some little accidents and problems. the important question is what will be at the day after the withrawal.

Lots of rock throwing, weeping, gnashing of teeth, comparisons to Nazi Germany, people losing their $150,000-400,000 property compensation for refusing to leave, and more gnashing of teeth.

Well it looks like ultra-nationalist Israelis are causing all the problems right now. They are even blocking the people who want to leave.

It's always hard to reason with fanatics.

The score so far:

Palestinian violence: several mortar salvos fired on Israeli settlements, Palestinian gunmen shot on the remaining settlers several times.

Setter violence: Not much to speak of. Some slashed tires, one burned army jeep, one policeman got a broken arm in a scuffle.

May I ask where you got your information from?

The only people that have hurt anyone so far have been from "settler violence" and this link: http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20050816/D8C136300.html?PG=home&SEC=news Mentions nothing about mortars fired on Israeli settlements or Palestinian gunmen getting shot.

Protesters set fire to two large garbage bins and white paint splattered in the road. They also pelted police with eggs, stones and plastic water bottles while a water cannon put out the fire. One policeman had burning acid thrown at his face and several people had bloody faces. Four officers were hurt, police said.

I'm suspecting some violance form both sides. So far though, Palestinian Security is keeping Hamas at bay and that's a start.
